~ FIVE YEARS LATER ~
"My most trusted advisor, won't you come here and spare us a word?" The Sultan asked Jafar who stood beside the Sultan's daughter, the Princess, Jasmine who had matured beautifully into a lovely young lady who had opinions and a large mouth that she would share those wicked opinions with.
"Yes, sire." Jafar replied back, and he made his way over to the Sultan who sat ever so pompously in his high chair. The Sultan then requested what she shall ever do, to stop Jasmine from getting into trouble.
Jafar thought carefully about what he could do to get closer to the throne to then which Jafar replied, "If indeed she gets into trouble, shouldn't a strong man be there to stop or save her? Shouldn't a man help her to achieve what she needs to achieve? Shouldn't a Princess need a prince?"
"Yes! Exactly!" cried The Sultan and he kissed Jafar's hand, before turning to his daughter and then telling her that in the next two years, she must find a husband suitable for herself, and he must be a prince or someone of royalty.
"By your words only, Father. I shall find myself a wealthy and considerably suitable husband." bowed Jasmine before she then pulled Jafar out of the room and whispered to him, "Your plan is never going to happen, Jafar. You will never rule, Agrabah."
The Sultan came and asked what was wrong, to which
Jafar chuckled, "She's nervous, poor thing. She asked for some advice. You see, desperate times call for desperate measures, my lord."
