It was about ten or eleven years later when Gaston rode through the town once again from an expedition with his best friend, Le Fou. His fat but kind horse was named Ollie. Whilst Le Fou just trudged along, walking beside him. "Breathe the amazing air! Look at all the pretty ladies! Eat all the damn eggs! It's Gaston!" squealed Le Fou.
"Damn right, I am- who is that beautiful woman I see before my eyes? I must have her." snapped Gaston, "Come on, Ollie!" And they went to a water fountain where Gaston introduced himself.
"My name is Gaston Legume. What is yours?"
"Belle. Belle D'Arque. My uncle is Monsieur D'Arque of the Local Asylums. My father is Maurice, the town inventor." The girl said.
"Belle. Meaning beautiful. And you sure are. Just not as good looking as I. I am much more better than you." announced Gaston.
"Whatever.." mumbled Belle and she went back to reading. Reading? Why would a girl read?
"It's not right for a woman to read. Soon she starts getting ideas and then, she starts thinking."
