That's all he heard as he claims out of the hole that lead to nothing but darkness. He didn't have no one to blame but her, if she never came into the picture everything could've stayed perfect!

Just him and his love.

But the odds seems to be on her side every time he was able to find his love, and once everything seems so perfect she comes into the picture and ruins everything. If he could do anything, he would kill her every time she appeared in front of them, but he knew his love would get mad at him.

Taking a small breaker, the male leans against the wall while keeping his feet away from the cliff to hear a shaky sigh of relief, "W-we're nearly there!" The male turns his head towards the voice to see a woman with short black hair holding a blanket to her chest as she steps away from the edge.

'What are the odds...'

The male watch silently as the black haired woman calms her breathing while carefully and slowly moves the blanket around to a sleeping baby with [h/c], causing the male's eyes to widen, "Excuse me..." He mumbles.

The woman quickly turns her head towards the male with a hope in her eyes as tears began to roll down her cheek, "Oh thank god! Are you alright?" She asked, as she makes her way towards the male, "I didn't think anyone else survive the attack."

The male only ignores the woman's words as he stares at the [h/c] haired baby with widening eyes, "What's her name?" He interrupt, causing the woman to turn her gaze towards the baby with a soft smile, "Her name is [Name]."

"May I hold her?"

The male glances up at the blue sky with a smile as the wind blows through his messy hair, "We're nearly at the top, [Name]!" He exclaims, only to have the sounds of the wind to respond, causing him to chuckle, "Oops! Almost forgot your sleeping back there."

Coming to stop on a cliff, the male holds the wrapped baby to his chest as he takes a seat away from the edge. He couldn't believe how the odds where suddenly in his favor now, it only been a few hours since the incident and he had already find her.

More like she find him!

He couldn't help but smile at the baby as she snuggles into the blanket for more warmth, causing him to lightly chuckle. But, like every moment something is bond to happened, "Is anyone there?! Please!"

The male smile drops at the sound of the pleading woman's voice, turning to his right the male saw a woman with long sliver hair places a hand over her mouth while the other holds a blanket to her chest.

The male holds onto the blanket with the [h/c] baby while his other hand clenches onto a broken sword and a blanket wrapped around a crying sliver haired baby. Ignoring the cold breeze, the male comes to a stop as two males riding horses head towards him.

"What happened?"

The messy blonde haired male stared at the two before glances back at the hole while thinking of a response. I mean what could he say? Oh, I had lost control because I saw the love of my life die right before my very eyes!

They would most certainly throw him in jail and take away his precious love away from him and her, but that would be a good thing..right? "There was an attack." He stated as the two stare at him with widening eyes.

A male with long white hair stared at the messy haired male in shock, he wasn't expecting that but it would make sense. Beside the white haired male, a older male with long gray hair slowly nods his head, "What about the two children?" He asked.

The messy haired tilts his head to the left before glancing down at the two baby in his hands, "Both parents had died."

Now inside the Royal Castle in a kingdom called Lioness, the messy haired male toss the now five months [Name] into the air with a wide smile, "Meliodas!" The white haired male shouts as he burst through the door.

[Name] sends Meliodas a smile revealing her gums, causing the messy haired male to send her a smile in return before turning his attention towards the white haired male, "What's up, Zaratras?" He asked as him and [Name] tilts their head in confused.

Five minutes later...

"So his highness wants to adopt my [Name] and Elizabeth?"

Zaratras nods his head as the two now sat at a table with [Name] on Meliodas lap, "Why would he want to adopt them? I understand my Sunflower, but why her?" Meliodas asked.

Zaratras secretly sends Meliodas a questionable gaze, he wasn't expecting that from the messy haired male although he doesn't really know anything about Meliodas, "His Highness feels like there is something special about young [Name] and Elizabeth."

As if she could understand the words that left Zaratras mouth, bright [e/c] peeks through the table. 'May the gods and goddesses have mercy! This child will be the death of me." Zaratras thought as Meliodas sends him a glare.

Walking through a dark hallway that was brighten by touches, Meliodas carries a frightening [Name] as they follow a guard through the prison, "He has been executed nearly 80 times." The guard information as they comes to a stop in front of a mental door that was guarded.

Meliodas nods his head as one of the guards unlock the door and and the other holds his arms out to Meliodas confusion, "Do you need something? Or.." He asked, causing the guard to blush in embarrassment, "Sorry, Sir! I just thought you would want to hold onto her highness."

"Oh."

Was all Meliodas said before entering the prisoners cell to see a male with long light blue hair and beard, "Just do the executing here will ya?" The blue haired male says. Meliodas sets [Name] down before bending down to her level, "Wait here okay, [Name]? This will only take a second."
