Meliodas places a delicious looking meal in front of Mead before pouring himself a bottle of Vanya Ale and [Name] a bottle of [f/d], "This looks great!" Mead exclaims before grabbing a fork and digs in.

Mead's eyes widen as delicious different flavors touches his tongue, making his mouth feel like it's in heaven, "Woah! I've never hand anything like this," he states before turning his gaze towards Meliodas with admire, causing the blonde haired male to grin.

"So, about the Seven Deadly Sins."

Mead opens his mouth to speak, but quickly closes it as [Name] shakes her head, "Don't talk with your mouth open. You might choke," she scold soft. Mead nods his head and finishes chewing his food as Meliodas began to pure the two drinks into the mug.

Mead looks at Meliodas in disbelief as the blonde male began to pure Vanya Ale into his mug before pouring [Name] her own drink, "Wait is that Vanya Ale? You can't- Onee-san! That kid is drinking alcohol!" Mead shouts as he shakes [Name] arm while pointing at Meliodas.

"I told you, I'm not a kid."

[Name] places Mead's plate into the sink as a bell chimes, causing the three to turn towards the door to see Elizabeth and Hawk walking through the door.

Spotting Mead, Elizabeth head towards the brown haired boy, "Hello, Mead. I've heard that you like to cause a lot of trouble at the village with your tricks and pranks." Elizabeth says as she kneels down to Mead's height.

Mead stares at Elizabeth with a unamused look before sending the sliver haired female a glare, "Why should I listen to you? You're not my mother." Mead stares boredly, taking Hawk and Elizabeth by surprise.

Not knowing what to do, Elizabeth sends Meliodas a pleading look, which was ignored by the male as he turns his gaze somewhere else, "Oh, welcome back." [Name says] as she walks towards the group.

The two only remained silent as [Name] returns to her seat and turns towards Mead, "Hey, Mead? If you don't mind me asking, where are your parents?" She asked, gaining his full attention.

"Well, my parents were always on the road after they got married. From what I was told my father had married my mom after losing my older sister and her mother to an attack in there home town."

The trio except Meliodas sends Mead to pathetic a sympathetic look as he gives them a shrug, "After that they were always on the road, until they stopped here and had me. Then they had caught a disease and died."

[Name] sends Mead a playful grin as she ruffles his hair, earning a low groan from the young male as he blushes, "Don't worry. You still have me! I mean, I am you Onee-san, right?" [Name] asked, causing Mead to stare at her with widening eyes, "Right!" Mead exclaims as he tackles [Name] into a hug.

"But, why did you put a bug in the Holy Knights drink?"

Mentally rolling his eyes, Mead turns towards Elizabeth with a pout, "You would've done the same if they were talking bad about your village!" Mead quickly turns his head towards [Name] as if she was the only person he trust, "And if the Holy Knights are looking for the Sins, wouldn't that make them the good guys?" He asked.

Elizabeth and Hawks turns their gaze towards the silent blonde male, "What?" He asked with a raised eyebrow, but before anyone could respond a loud commotion was heard outside the tavern, "That's coming from the village!" Mead shouts as he grabs [Name's] hand and runs out the tavern.

Back inside the village, a rope was tied around the sword as the village strong men began to pull with all their might, only for the rope to break. Watching the scene, the Holy Knight's apprentice let's out a roar of laughter at the group of men failed attempt.

Leaving [Name] in the crowd, Mead runs fast the fallen men and begins to pull the sword with all his might, causing one of the Holy Knight's apprentices to wipe a invisible tear before adding onto the village debt.

The villagers erupts with hatred words at the Holy Knight, causing [Name's] frown to harden at the villagers rude words, "You got this Mead!" She shouts, earning glares from the villagers.

"That's enough!"

Everyone turns towards the old man aka mayor in shock at his shout, "You all should be ashamed of yourself! That Holy Knight was being disrespecting our hard work, our village! Mead was only doing was what we hope would happened that day." He scolds, causing the villagers to lower their heads in shame.

One by one the villagers began to help Mead, until there was multiple ropes wrapped around the sword and the strong men began to pull with Mead in the front. Walking towards the laughing apprentices, Meliodas snatches their drink with a calm stare, "Anyone who doesn't appreciate a good quality booze. Doesn't deserve it." He states before drinking the two mug as the rope broke.

"Ah! That hit the spot," Meliodas says as he places the mug down and makes his way to the sword, "Sorry guys, I don't have any money on me," Meliodas comes to a stop by the sword, "Would this do?" He asked, before pulling the sword out with ease.

Everyone except [Name] stares at Meliodas shock before letting out a roar of cheers, while Meliodas toss the swords the Holy Knight's apprentices making them tremble, "Hey! Are you-" Mead asked as he dash towards him, "Yep! I'm the owner of the Boat Hat!" Meliodas exclaims back.

"That's not what I ment!" Mead pout, before looking for [Name].

'Looks like he still have a good heart.' [Name] leaves the crowd and heads towards the tavern, 'but, that doesn't a justify what he did to me.' She thought, with a frown as she began to think about the past.

"Why am I still here?"
