A groan leaves Mead lips as Meliodas ruffles his light brown hair while letting out a laugh, "Mead..." A voice says, gaining the two male attention. Glancing up, Mead gives the mayor a blank stare as the villagers began to surround behind the mayor, "We're sorry for miss treating you. Could you find it in your heart to forgive us?" The mayor asked with a hint of hope.

"No."

Everyone stares at Mead in shock by the hatred in his voice, they wasn't expecting the young boy to stare at them with so much hatred, "Mead- I-... Why?" The mayor stutters, earning a shrug from the boy, "I don't know. Maybe it was you guys throwing rock at me, or it was you guys calling me name." He says before turning towards Meliodas, "Can I go with you and Onee-san?" Mead asked with excitement in his voice.

"Sure!"

The mayor stares at Meliodas and Mead in shock before anger takes over, "Do you know how much we've done for you!? We gave you our food. Our clothes. We put a roof over your head!" He shouts.

Mead only send the old man a wide smirk before bursting into laughter, "Am I supposed to feel sorry?" Mead asked, while tilting his head and his grin never leaving his face.

Despite today's actions, the Boat Hat was filled with drank men and women while the kids running around like the place was a playground, "I don't know if I can do this." Elizabeth says as she squirms under Meliodas and Hawks gaze.

Meliodas stares at Elizabeth with a raised eyebrow before sending her a blank look, "But you already agreed to it," he states as Hawk walks towards the crowd to take orders.

"I know-"

"So you where lying?"

Elizabeth flinches at Meliodas stares as she turns her gaze somewhere else, "No! I just-" Not being able to form any words, Elizabeth lowers her head in shame, was she really lying to them? To [Name]?

Shaking his head with a disappointed sigh, Meliodas turns his gaze towards the hard working [h/c], "Looks like I'll have to give [Name] your position." He says with sadness.

"I'll do it!"

Meliodas sends Elizabeth a smile and hands her a wooden tray, "Awesome! Don't forget to gather information," he says while lightly pushing into the crowd.

Elizabeth stares at the crowd with a nervous gaze before turning around, "Sir Meliodas-" she mumbles only to find the blond haired male gone, "Elizabeth!" [Name] shouts, gaining the sliver hair's attention, "Can you take this to that table over there near the corner?" [Name] asked while sliding five filled mugs towards Elizabeth.

Giving [Name] a small nods, Elizabeth places the five mugs onto the tray and tries to carry it towards the table, "Thank you!" Name shouts as Elizabeth disappears into the crowd.

Not a moment later, [Name] flinches at the sound of mugs falling onto to the floor and a soft groan, "Maybe she's not ready for this." She says a nervous chuckle, "Another round, please!"

"Coming up!"

After failing to serve an order, Elizabeth holds the wooden tray to her chest as she slides down the wall in defeat, "Your terrible at this, aren't you?" Mead asked with a chuckle, causing Elizabeth to pout, "I wouldn't say that..." She frowns.

Elizabeth didn't understand why everyone was against her whenever she tried to make [Name] proud, maybe it was the universe way to tell her that she should try her luck and find another member of the Sins and work from there.

What if they wouldn't help her? Was this her only option to help her people? What about [Name], what if she's trapped here with no way out, "I don't see why, Onee-san even haired you. Your basically useless."

Not wanting to be criticized anymore, Elizabeth dashes out the tavern with teary eyes, "I'm going out to take a piss." Meliodas says, earning a hum in response.

Walking out he tavern, Meliodas spots Elizabeth sitting on the porch with her knees brought up to her chest, "S-sir Meliodas!" Elizabeth says in shock as her gaze lands on the blonde male.

"Yeah?" Meliodas hums as he places his hand over his eyes and looks up at the beautiful dark sky, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you and [Name] worry. I hope she forgives me." Meliodas pauses at Elizabeth words.

Meliodas turns towards Elizabeth with a questionable look at her words, her words repeat in his head and got louder by the second, 'Calm down. She just didn't want her sister to worry about her.' He thought.

Meliodas turns towards Elizabeth with a hidden glare that sent shivers down her spin, "Don't worry. She didn't worry, to be honest. She didn't even notice you running out the tavern. " Meliodas says, while taking a step towards her.

"She wasn't even thinking about you through them five years, not you, the kingdom, the royal family. If you haven't showed up we would even be in your bullshit."

Elizabeth stares at Meliodas in shock, she couldn't helped but feel small under his gaze as her body trembles. Before she could respond, Meliodas turns around and walks back at couple steps in front of the tavern with his arm out, "When will you learn? She doesn't care about you."

Heading towards Meliodas in a uncontrollable speed, a spear with blue lighting surrounding it charges at Meliodas sending the messy haired male flying. Elizabeth watches Meliodas with a blank stare as she couldn't help but feel that he deserved what just happened to him, maybe it was revenge for all the rude this he said to her.

Lowering her head once more, Elizabeth couldn't shake the feeling that this same event had happened before. Where Meliodas would get piss at the sliver haired female for wanting to know if [Name] was alright, or if she was scared. But Elizabeth just shook if off.

'It's just my imagination... ' she thought.
