It's been a week since we've gotten here and it hasn't gotten any easier between Aus and I. We're constantly butting heads about parenting. He doesn't believe he needs to do much because I'm the mom.

"Like now?" Aus asked. His dad nodded and handed him his car keys. Ema picked Caleb up out of his bouncy chair.

"Stay out for however long it takes for you two to see eye to eye" his mom told us. We nodded as I grabbed my purse.

I walked over and kissed Caleb on the cheek before walking out the front door.

"What do you wanna do?" Aus asked as we approached his dad's car.

"I dunno. You're the one who's from here" I shrugged.

"You wanna go to the aquarium and get something to eat afterwards?" He asked. I nodded. I've never been to an aquarium.

We've been at the aquarium for about forty five minutes, now. We've been having a blast, this is the longest we've gone without an argument in a long time. We've been joking around and making fun of the weird looking fish.

"Look it's Nemo and Dory!" I smiled, point at the tank.

"Actually, that's a clown fish and a blue tang. Get it right" Auston laughed. I shook my head. We continued to admire the fish.

We walked around for about five minutes before I realized we were holding hands. I pulled my hand away.

"I'm sorry. I didn't realize we were holding hands" he nervously chuckled. I shrugged it off.

We got done with aquarium. We got Caleb a bunch of souvenirs from the gift shop, we couldn't help ourselves.

We're sitting in his dad's car, in silence. He's on his phone; trying to figure out what to get for dinner. There's been some sort of tension between us. It's been super awkward since we realized we were holding hands.

"You wanna get Mexican food?" He suggested. I looked over at him and nodded. He just stared at me.

"What?" I asked.

"You're beautiful" he sighed.

"Thank you?" I replied, confused. He stayed quiet and leaned in towards me. Our lips hit and I couldn't help but kiss back.

Our lips moved in sync. This is so wrong. I have William back at home. I can't do this to him. I pulled away.

"I can't do this to Will, Auston" I sighed.

"Sadie, I love you" he admitted.

"Let me get to know you, I beat myself up everyday for not making you mine and being an idiot for using you" he told me.

"That was almost two years ago, I'm over it. I've been with William for almost two years, Auston. I can't keep betraying him" I sighed.

"You think maybe you're betraying him because you really don't want him? You think it's because you settled for him? You settled for him because he's a push over, he's so blinded by his love for you that he'll do anything for you, no matter how bad you mess up, he's there to pick up the pieces." He asked.

"Auston, I didn't settle. I'm in love with him-" I said before he cut me off.

"If you were in love with him, you wouldn't have fucked me when he was with his family, you wouldn't be in this car, making out with me" he stated.

"It was a mistake" I told him.

"Did you see how well we were getting along in there? Willy didn't exist, our problems disappeared" he insisted.

"Auston..." I sighed.

"You know it's true. I love Willy to death, he's like a brother to me but I should be the one holding you at night. I should be the one kissing you good morning. I should be the one you're picking up from the airport after away games. I should be the one fucking the shit out of you every night. He's the one in that position because I fucked up. You're the one that got away" he explained. My heart fluttered as he spilled his heart out to me. I thought about how different our lives would've been if I would've chose him over Willy.

What's one secret to keep from William? I'm in love with him but maybe I do have feelings for Aus. He is the father of my child.

"Fuck it what's one secret to keep from Will" I breathed as I leaned in closer to Auston. Our lips slammed together and moved in sync, our tongues swirling around in each other's mouths.
