"How long do you think it'll be before they come in here to force us out of bed," she asked as she snuggled more into him and relished in the soft touch of his hands gliding against her bare thigh.
He placed a kiss on her temple and held her a little tighter, he too enjoying the few moments of peace they were getting before their day got hectic. "I'd definitely say give it another 2 minutes max," he said and she chuckled.
"It's so cold today, I can feel it from here," she said and it was now his turn to chuckle.
"You've been living here for 3 years now and you're still not used to it?" he asked, taking her hand into his and interlinking their fingers.
"I don't think I'll ever get used to it. I swear it gets colder every year," she said and just as she finished her sentence there was a knock placed on their door. After being granted access the three of them walked in with Adonis leading the trio with his baby sister securely in his arms.
"Good morning," Drake said to them as they walked further in heading straight to make themselves comfortable and join their parents on the bed, giving a sweet good morning back.
"Did you sleep well?" Nicki asked the boys as she pulled them both into her and placed a kiss on each of their temples. They both nodded in response causing her to chuckle. "My little men of few words. How about you Lee." She looked over at her daughter who was busy laughing at the faces her dad was pulling at her.
"She looks very cheerful this morning so I would say just fine huh lee?" he asked her and didn't get much of a response as she looked around the room. "So what's the plan for today boys," Drake asked his son and stepson as they relished in the morning cuddle they were receiving.
"We want to play on the playstation," Adonis answered for both of them and Papa nodded in agreement causing their parents to chuckle.
"That works for us," he gave back as he leant against the pillows leaving Everleigh to crawl around their bed. "You both still wanna go and find some presents for Grandma Sandi and Grandma Carol?" he asked them and they nodded. "So how about you play on the playstation for an hour whilst we get out of bed and then I'll take you both out and we can go to the arcade after?" he suggested and the boys didn't need any further convincing before they took off in the direction of the lounge.
"You cut morning cuddles short Aubrey," she said as she glared at him and he chuckled.
"I've got one right here for you," he said as she shook her head before reaching for her daughter who was already headed in her direction.
"You see how your daddy gets jealous when he doesn't have my attention, Lee," she said before placing a kiss on her cheek. "Who got you this morning baby girl?," she asked, showering her with more kisses.
'I think it was Laura," he said of their nanny. "I know she's here until about 4pm tomorrow and then they're all ours until the 27th." He reached over and ran his hand over his daughter's mane of light brown curls.
"Is mom still coming over tomorrow morning or are we taking them to hers?" she asked and he shook his head.
"She's coming over tonight which allows for us to leave first thing and have the whole day," he explained. "It also means they're all here for christmas eve, except for Don but sophie said she'll bring him back in the evening,"
"That's perfect. Mom and Micaiah are gonna arrive in the morning of christmas eve so that fall perfectly too. Is there anyone else coming over besides the ones we already know?" she asked and he thought for a moment before shaking his head. "Perfect. Well you promised the boys you'll take them out and so far you're not on track for that,"
