"You're really going through with it?" Rochelle asked over the phone to Nicki who was fixing her makeup whilst she sat in the back of her Maybach.

"Of course," she said, taking one final look at her appearance. "I'm bored and I need a little excitement in my life, what better way to get that excitement than through a companion,"

"You have men falling at your feet and you've resorted to speed dating?" Her assistant asked and Nicki chuckled.

"The type of men that throw themselves at me are all the same. They're boring."

"How bored are you," Rochelle asked with a chuckle.

"Bored enough to be here. Anyway is that all for tomorrow?" she asked and rochelle confirmed that it was. "Can you tell Minnie to have my bath running, exactly 93 minutes from now please, and I'll speak to you tomorrow." With that she hung up the phone and tapped the window, signalling to her chauffeur to open the door for her.

She walked into the building and followed the stairs up to the second floor where they were hosting the event. She greeted the host as she walked in and took a seat on the awaiting chair, placing her birkin on the chair free chair that had already been put aside for it as she waited.

"I didn't expect you to actually come," Cassie said with a smile as she took the seat opposite Nicki for the time being.

"Neither did I," Nicki said as she fixed the Rolex on her wrist. "But a little speed dating doesn't hurt anyone." She picked up the drinks menu and had a scan through.

"What's catching your eye?" Cassie asked. "Remember all proceeds are going towards the children's hospital," she added, encouraging her friend to go expensive on whatever her drink of choice was.

"I'll take a bottle of Dom Perignon Rosè," she said, giving Cassie a side eye who just smirked.

"What are we celebrating?" she asked as signalled for the card machine and passed it over to Nicki who made the payment.

"The fact that I actually showed up," Nicki gave back smartly and Cassie laughed. "Is it all well established people then today, since I know you and Alex are trying to bring out the big bucks today,"

"No," she said with a laugh. "There's a fair few of you, but anymore and they'd think we robbed a bank." They shared a laugh as Alex brought over her order and greeted her. "There is someone I think might catch your eye though, but depends how tough you're being today." And with that she stood from the table and let Nicki just dwell on what she was saying as they got the event started...

"If you weren't a salesman what would you be?" Nicki asked and he thought for a moment before finally giving her an answer just as the bell signalled the end of their time.

"A therapist," he said a smile and she gave one back. He was the first of the many she had spoken to that she actually considered seeing again, but she didn't dwell on it too long as the next contender sat in front of her.

She had given his appearance a rundown as he had walked over. She usually judged a person by their style and so far this one read as someone of grace and integrity, but she didn't let that sway her. She sat back and took a sip of her champagne as she waited for the bell to signal the start of their time.

"I like to ask the questions so we're gonna work through it that way," she stated and he nodded. "Name?"

"Aubrey, but I usually go by Drake," he said and she was quick to pick up on the fact his accent wasn't of New York residence.

"Where are you from?"

"Toronto Canada. Born and raised," he said and took a sip of the wine spritzer.
