I hate it when I'm in the bookstore alone. When Sam takes her days off, it's so lonely here. Usually, all I do is scroll through TikTok.
But oddly today we had a fair amount of customers. As I'm finally able to sit down on my butt the front doorbell rings.
I groan before getting up. But my frustration instantly washes away as I see Lorenzo.
"Enzo- I mean Lorenzo hey." I greet him with a smile.
"Amora. Hi." He says. I don't know why I was expecting him to be wearing casual clothing.
Don't ask me why I thought so.
I've never seen this man wear normal clothes.
Does he even-
Shut up.
"What are you doing here?" I question his presence.
"I was done with work. And I wanted to get out of the office. And this was the first place that came to my mind." He tells me.
"Hmm." I hum. Lorenzo looks around and on the bookshelf notices a book.
"Isn't that the book you had in your hands when I saw you at the coffee shop?" He says while he points to the book 'it ends with us'
