I'm posting short Chapters, I know. I posted two:) chapter 25 & 26. And so you know, I do know these chapters are shit. I'm struggling so hard to make them perfect. I can't think of anything to write

I had just dropped Amora off at home. Some part of me keeps telling me it's my fault she left early.

I lock my car and enter my house. "Don't worry I didn't burn shit!" I hear Domenico yell out.

I playfully scoff before walking into the kitchen. "Why did Amora want to leave so bad? Did I do something?!" Dom says in a panic.

"I don't think either of us did anything. Amora didn't give me a valid reason." I tell him.

"Did you tell her?" Dom asks me, making me stop my tracks.

"No," I say simply. This topic has come across multiple times.

"You should." He says. Domenico could tell I'm getting annoyed with his stupid comments.

Domenico puts his hands up in defence, "I'm just saying I personally feel, You should tell her that you're in the Mafia." He says. "Before she hears it from someone else..." he adds on.

"Are you planning on telling her?" I snap at him.

"What- no! I never said I was." Domenico says in defence.

"Other than my family you're the only one who knows," I say. "I know for a fact Sofia wouldn't dare to say shit," I add on.

"Luca," Domenico says. "He'll do anything
to-"

"that's enough." I cut him off. I sigh. "I'll tell her after she comes home from her dinner with Sam's family," I say.

I have to. Rather than admitting he's right. And rather than using the words 'you're right', I'll just jump from one point to another or some shit.

Honestly, I would rather die than admit to being wrong.

"well I'm gonna be on my way. I'll see you in the office in a few hours." Domenico says, getting up from the barstools. "Lorenzo," Domenico says, catching my attention.

"I'm going to ask you something. Will you be honest with me?" Dom asks.

"I'm not agreeing to anything," I mutter.

Domenico chuckles, "Do you like Amora? I mean in a non-friendship way." Domenico asks me.

I stay silent. "I'll take that as a yes." He mumbles before walking off.

Even if I did like her,

I'd just be putting her life in danger.

I can't take that risk.

I spent almost the whole day at the office with Domenico trying to figure out a perfect plan for the Americans.

There's more of us on this mafia team. But as per protection, they're in Italy. Domenico is the only one who came along with me other than my siblings.

'How to tell if someone self-harms'

is what I had searched up on my computer. I've searched it up a couple of times but never really went onto any websites.

I kept telling myself that Amora wouldn't do such a thing.

Although I did find myself in between researching to make sure. I know I shouldn't be thinking things like this about Amora, but my mind just keeps going back to those cuts she has all over her arm.
