/A/N/ I know I'm one day late (at least for my timezone) but Happy New Year!
This turned out longer than I expected...

I groan in frustration. We had Relina right where we wanted, yet somehow two Voltaris had escaped their cells together with their weapons. I'm not familiar with them, but Kyron had told me that both of them were taken under Relina's wing when they were young. He also added that one was mad, and the other had a difficult time handling his emotions. Either way, they were seen as crazy, though Kyron believed that it wasn't their fault they turned out like that.
I'm still in disbelief at how young Kyron is. From the length of his red horns, he didn't seem to even be ten years old, yet here he was, doing everything he could for a cause he believed was right.
My thoughts are cut short when I see moving lights in the distance. Almrak had asked me to guard this side of the beacon, even after I protested that I could be more useful elsewhere, especially in joining the search, but he insisted. When I see that the lights are green, I don't feel the need to draw out my sword, simply shouting out to them, ' It's dangerous up here! I suggest you go back!'
They are now close enough for me to see that it's a Kaltaris female, and I spot Kaltar on their back. What's the Kaltaris master doing here? When I can see her markings, I realise it's not Reya Kaltaris, but... Nalla.
Her eyes light up in recognition when she sees me, ' Keiran!'
' What... what are you doing here, and with Kaltar?' I ask, puzzled at how the staff of the Kaltaris clan had made it to her back.
Her face falls at the mention of the staff, and she looks away, ' They killed everyone in Kaltaria... including Master Reya.'
I gawk. I knew Relina had headed to this dimension, but I was never informed what for. To hear that there was a massacre in Kaltaria answers that. ' I'm sorry to hear that...' I don't know what else to say that could comfort her.
She frowns, meeting my eyes again. Since Elena's death, I had been told many times how pained and empty my gaze was. To see it in another made me understand why everyone was so worried. Her fists tightens, and I can practically feel the heat of the silent rage emitting from her, ' I only need to hear that from Relina before I kill her.'
I'm taken aback by what she just said. Her voice was full of anger and determination. I had been there, spending two years chasing after Marvolo. But with every passing day in search of the man who took the girl I had fallen for away, I began to think if revenge was really the way. If killing Marvolo would really put me to peace as I believed. Even as I put a stop to each Unyielding Legion attack, I could never find it in myself to take a life. ' Killing Relina won't bring your family and friends back,' I tell her. It was something I had realised myself on the way. I am not about to stand idly by and let someone else take that dark path.
' I know...' Nalla mutters, ' But I won't let her get away with it.'
I sigh in defeat, knowing I would not be able to change her mind no matter how hard I tried, ' We can't even find Relina now, she escaped.'
' Then I'll tear through all of Ardonia to find her.'
Aldora's p.o.v
When Cassian, the Voltaris siblings and I arrive at the beacon, we are greeted by Almrak. ' It's good to see you, I apologise that you needed to make the whole journey here. Arion was occupied.'
I wave it off, not having been bothered by it at all, ' It's fine, we've travelled further than this.'
' It appears while you were on your way here, help had arrived,' Almrak says. Only then did I notice the Enderdragons behind him.
