The sun rises, casting an orange hue across the sky. In the crowd of Sendaris, Elion rushes through, eyes out for a certain Kaltaris. They had both slept against the same tree, but when he woke up, she was already gone, and after going round and round searching, he still couldn't find her, making him panic.

He finally spots green markings in the distance, but after squinting his eyes, realises that although her markings are the same, she has darker markings and longer horns compared to Nalla. It had to be her "mother", but Elion decides it is worth a shot asking. ' Excuse me, have you seen Nalla?'

Aldora turns to look in his direction, recognising him as the Sendaris she had found Nalla with the previous night. She frowns, now worried, ' I don't believe I have... Can you not find her?'

Cassian walks up to them, eyelids heavy. It is obvious he had not slept at all the previous night. Aldora frowns at the sight of him, but understands where her friend is coming from. Since Thalleous and Achillean were rather close, Cassian had spent pretty much his whole life growing up with Kaeleon, his death ought to take a heavy toll on him. ' Nalla? I believe I saw her ride off west in the middle of last night.'

' Did she return?' Cassian shrugs, ' Why would she leave-' Aldora's gaze falls on Elion, who has a look of dismay, ' Do you know where she's headed?' she hesitantly asks him.

' Kaltaria,' he says bluntly. He feels ashamed that despite knowing Nalla for so long, he still didn't see this coming, even if it was something she would totally have done. She didn't enjoy being on the receiving end of help, stubbornly believing it made her look pitiful, only giving in reluctantly during desperate times. ' I need to go after her,' he declares before darting off.

' Wait, let me go wi-' Aldora is cut off when she hears a Mobilium Song. Both her and Cassian's guard are instantly up and they draw out their weapons, ready if the newcomer decides to try something. Aldora tenses as she notices it's Voltaris, one she doesn't recognise, but the other has the same markings as Senn.

The portal closes behind them, the latter looking at the Kaltaris and Sendaris, ' You must be Aldora and Cassian.'

' Who's asking?' Aldora questions.

' Almrak, leader of the resistance,' the Voltaris introduces himself, making them relax a little. Almrak gestures to the Voltaris with him, ' This is Arion.'

' Are you here for Lora and Loris?' Aldora asks, lowering her greatsword, ' They should be around somewhere.'

' Actually, there is something else I would like to do,' Almrak says, ' Just a few days ago, we ambushed Relina,' this makes both the other Ardoni's eyes widen in surprise, ' She escaped, but she's vulnerable. I know you and the siblings have been working together for some time already, and I feel like maybe we could form a proper alliance.'

Cassian groans, storming off. Aldora sighs, telling Almrak, ' The Knights of Ardonia aren't in the best position right now. We lost all the Enderknights and Kaeleon. Me and Cassian are the only ones left, possibly Pythus as well.'

Almrak has a solemn look on his face, ' I'm sorry for your loss... and that we couldn't stop Relina sooner. The opportunity never presented itself to us until now.'

' I understand,' Aldora says, ' I don't call the shots, but me and Cassian can help you search for Relina, and if we can, kill her.'

A pained smile forms on Almrak's face, ' We need all the help we can get. Every second we waste, Relina may be using to recover.'

' By vulnerable, you mean...?' Aldora asks, wanting to get a clearer understanding of the situation.

' Senn, Hana and Freya are all dead, Freya by her own hands,' the news shocks the Kaltaris, her mouth gaped open, ' She only has around a dozen Voltaris on her side, including Zenon and Loran, but the rest should serve no problem. And Keiran managed to heavily injure her.'
