Chapter 5

Kaeleon's (OD) p.o.v

I open my eyes, and realise I'm in a cell.

' You're finally awake.'

That voice belongs to Hana.

I turn to the side and see Hana leaning against the wall, her arms crossed.

' You've been out for hours.'

' You were the one who knocked me out.'

' I was just saying,' she unfolds her arms, and walks up to my cell.
' Now, where is the Ender portal?'

' Well, where is Relina?' I ask her back.

' She'll kill you the second her eyes land on you, and you know well why. I want to know where the Ender portal is. I won't get that information if you're dead.'

' I'm not telling you anything.'

She stares at me, and I return it.

After a moment, she heads towards the exit. ' We'll find the portal eventually, it's just a matter of time before I get to Pythus,' she leaves.

Argus' p.o.v

As we're walking, I can't help but notice the trees were different again. But this type of tree seems familiar.

I pull out a book from my inventory, and begin flipping through it.

' What are you reading?' Allen asks.

' Hold on…'

After flipping for a while, I finally find it. These are the trees that surround Mendoria, they look identical to the ones in the pictures in my book of the Ardonia.

' I think we've reached Mendoria,' I tell him.

' Really?'

' Yeah, the trees.'

' Argus! Look!' he points up ahead.

I look where he is pointing, and see a village full of Ardoni from different clans, mostly Mendoris.

' I guess this is Mendoria,' I say.

Third person view

Amora walks towards her room, and runs into Kyan.

' Oh, hey…' he stammers.

' Hey, I guess?' Amora says awkwardly.

' Look, I'm sorry about this morning… I should've found someone else as my partner… instead of…'

' No, no! It's fine!' she tells him.

' You…okay?' he asks.

' Yeah, I'm fine. Just got uncomfortable with everyone looking at me.'

' So…you're good?'

' Yeah.'

There's an awkward moment of silence between them. At least awkward for Kyan.

' I should get going,' Amora walks past him.

' Okay…see you next time…' his eyes follow her as she leaves.

Since we have nowhere to stay, Allen and I set up our tents on the outskirts of the village.
