I'm contemplating whether to pop out of nowhere or listen some more but now that I'm getting my nose sticking on someone else's conversation, I don't even think I want to give any chance for this girl to flirt with Byul.
"So, Are you alone?" this lady asked, attempting to change the subject.
"Uhh.. No. I'm with someone. Right now, she's somewhere at the sweets section. I'm not really familiar with the place so I'll have to keep still by the winery isle so she'd find me easier." the lady chuckled at Byul's respond. What's so funny about that?!
"This is new. I've always thought that CEO Moon is a scary person and knows everything and everywhere." my brow furrowed. That's because she is though.
"I'm not from here so.." she slowly responded and suddenly both became silent for no less than three seconds. RIGHT, IT'S MY QUE TO CUT THIS SCENE H*ES!
"Byul?" I called out, looking confused. Pretending like I have no idea she's literally just a few meters away from me. She raised her hand mid air making herself known.
"Swiden." I frowned hearing her calling me that name. "I thought I lost you for a second." I said. D*mn, I should be an actress one day.
"Sorry, I just had a talk with my secretary. I didn't know this was her hometown and she'll be spending christmas here. Small world huh." I pretended to look surprise and glanced back at the beautiful lady who looked puzzled at my sudden existence but to my amazement she retrieved back the look of confusion and extended her hand.
"Hi, I'm Elle. Miss Moon's one and only secretary." she introduced herself charmingly.
"Hello, Pleased to meet you." I shook her hand, making myself look approachable as always. Not gonna lie, she's got a hot secretary. Is that part of the requirements or.. ?
Oh, what am I even thinking, even if I have different life and apply as her secretary I'd probably be already dropped on the first interview. I just have that kind of feeling.
"I assume you're Genesis huh. Byul's sister correct?" I tilted my head and looked at her in disbelief. She probably doesn't know that the Youngest Moon is barely 11...
And what's with the sudden first-name basis? I looked at Byul who had plastered the same look as me.
"I'm afraid you've mistaken me for a ten-year old." I awkwardly chuckle and slowly organized the things I brought inside her cart.
"Oh sh*t! I'm so sorry..I thought you were her sister." she bowed her head. I know it's no secret that Byul has a fresh college graduate brother and a 10 year old little sweetheart. EVERYONE AND EVERY EMPLOYEE KNOWS THAT! IS SHE SH*TTING ME RIGHT NOW?
"Your face looks so familiar, You're that crazy business woman everyone in the business world keeps talking about, no? I think I've seen you in magazines, wow I didn't know you'd be so pretty in person. You were once nominated as one of the Beautiful woman in the Industry right? I think it was the angles or the make up but the photoshoot didn't give you justice, they should've added a little more on the eye area instead of making you look like a racoon. " she giggled. I tilted my head, unamused.
"So... Was I not pretty in the Business Magazine Photoshoot?" I muttered.
I felt someone grab my hand and I immediately looked at Byul's direction.
'She's new.' she mouthed.
I almost wanna scoff. "It's fine. Yes, I'm the crazy b*tch people were talking about few years ago, I'm surprised you still remembered that?" I forced a chuckle.
