Chapter 31

Swithene's POV

    Been so long since I last saw Byul in person. We talk every time we're free so communication isn't a problem. But the problem was unlike what she promised, she can't get rid of Ella that easily. I don't know what kind of connection this girl has but I'm getting a little suspicious of her actions. Even though she doesn't work for Byul directly anymore, she always finds a way to get in Byul's office. How did I know? Byul tells me every time.

  I haven't asked what kind of influence does Ella have but I'm getting a feeling she's too smart to make loopholes to talk to Byul and have her back in the Company as her 'one and only secretary'. Not suspicious enough? How about the time when she tried to bribe her recent boss who had a connection with Byul to convince her to take Ella back as her secretary since even now the position is still open and Byul is a little new with taking care of her schedules herself.

  I wouldn't have any problem and if it costs Byul's health and time, I'd gladly allow her to have another secretary but... I just don't trust that girl even though Byul told me she'll get rid of her whenever she has the chance and avoid her at all times.

 When she told me to disregard what happened at the hotel, I felt a little taken aback. That situation almost ended the both of us yet she's being considerate and gave her another chance and was in consideration of having her back to the company. Just not as a secretary but an employee under the finance department.

 Lucky for her having the luck spending time with my girlfriend when she can while I had to wait for her to come home and see me when she's free. I groaned. This doesn't sit right with me. No, I'm sure Byul told her off about setting boundaries. Yes.. That's it.

"What's with the long face so early in the morning?" I heard Cecil chuckled as she placed her bag on her table.

 "Just had a lot of things on my mind recently, that's all." I forced a smile.

 "Well, I understand on that. It's almost February. Valentines are coming up and I heard the recent product we launched sky rocketed. Many consumers gave great feedback. I knew the Moon Lip line would be a hit.I tried it on, the sweet flavor is addicting I could kiss myself. " I chuckled at her own feedback.

 "You're weird." I shook my head amusingly causing her to pout. "I'm being serious! I'm wearing it right now!"

"Awe, you're a sweet loyal costumer Cecil." I played along with her little drama.

"As I should! Though it makes me wonder, what inspired you to make such sweet tasting lip product." she smirked as she rose her brow.

 "Anyways, what's the schedule for toda-"

"Aye~ Don't change the subject like that. I'm giving you a genuine question." she said teasingly.

 "Maybe some other time, We're at work." I tried pushing the subject to the side as I felt my cheeks slightly feeling a little hot.

 "You always got a loophole for this kind of topic." she pouted. "But don't worry, we gave Byul a set to try it for herself and see what flavor rings a bell." she winked and quickly left the office with my mouth hang open. Are they serious right now?! I didn't know we're handing out gifts!

  "W-Wait C-Cecil-" at this point my mind are jumbled and my cheeks suddenly turned flushed but a ring on my phone already made my soul left my body. It's her.

I cleared my throat before answering the call.

"Hi Miss Moon."

"Hello to you too Miss Myoung." she replied a little too neutral, it's scary. I'm silently praying the gift would get lost or something. I feel like my secret love letters are sent out when it shouldn't be supposed to be sent. D*mn you Cecil!
