Chapter 36

Swithene's POV

     I'm currently contacting everyone from the house. I don't know what this woman has up her sleeves and might try to hurt my siblings since she did scream to look for me. 

  I'm so scared.  I don't know what to do next. I had a lot of options in my head but I just don't know which one would be the wisest choice.  My thoughts were interrupted when I noticed Byul's car pulled over right infront of us. Our moving vehicle came into a sudden halt and she abruptly came out of her car to knock on ours in a hurry. 

"I need Wendy with me." she said so as if I'm not there and straightly looked at Wendy. 

  I quickly came out of the car and searched for any injury on her.

  "What the f*ck is going on, Byul?!"  I shakily asked. Everything happened so fast, It's too overwhelming.

"You're not hurt are you?" I asked again, trying to make sure she's not hurt anywhere but then her reaction already gave me something to be bothered about.

 "She escaped before the police came." I felt like cold bucket of ice-cold water was being poured unto me. "W-What do we do?" I asked, completely agitated that she could be here somewhere. 

  "Miss Myoung.  We're leaving now.  It's dangerous out here in the middle of the road." Mrs. Jung said and quickly attempted to pull me back inside the car.

 "N-No, B-Byul!" I called out her name but it's as if she didn't hear me and remained her gazes low. "Y-You're hiding something from me, aren't you?" I asked starting to feel the taste of betrayal setting in when she didn't answer anything and looked down.

 "Tell me... You can tell me anything, babe. What's going on?" I asked again as I tried to walk closer to her but the moment she stepped away and avoiding my hands from hers literally felt like the weight of a man's hand being slapped across my face.

"I didn't think, she'll come for us on the same day like this." she spoke without looking at me.  "H-Hey, that's alright. W-We're okay, we're okay!" I tried soothing her mind despite the panic and confused feeling all over me but I never dare to question her or squeeze any further answer. All I need is her beside me and telling me that everything is okay and we'll get through this together. Yet I failed to understand what's in her heart.

 "Babe, listen to me. We need to get out of this place together, okay? L-Let's bring our siblings or something.. Judging by Elle's attempt of putting danger in that hall, we have to go to safety till police can trace her. We don't know what she's capable of Byul, she's crazy." I tried to persuade her to come with me, however her icy expression had taken me aback as she took a second piercing her eyes right through me. It's as if I had said something wrong and I too was officially shattered once more when she had utter these next words.

"Get her out of Elle and MY sight.. as of now." she frostily utter to Mrs. Jung.

 My heart sank hearing her. It's like I do not know her. She turned back on her heels and went inside the car with Wendy's mum pulling me back inside my car with force. I tried calling out of her name numerous times as Wendy went out of the car and followed Byul inside her car and drove off as each one of us called different names, both voices begging for them to come back. She wants me... Out of her sight?

  I felt like I was on a dead end yet again and all I felt was... the outcome of the deception of the person you love... Emptiness. .

     Throughout the whole time, I felt like the moving car was much slower as I looked out the window.  She didn't even bother to explain everything and suddenly, like a speed of light, she wants me out of her and Elle's sight for some reason.
