The rain is just rain today
I hear it's soft pour
I can not think of fancy things
No concepts to explore
My thoughts are just thoughts today
I wish that were true
Each thought leads me closer
To my coffin view
I lie here awake
Alone and afraid
I shakingly whisper
I should be more brave
I am just myself today
The most I can be
And I am alive
And yet I'm not free
I wish I were dreaming
Like I always do
So I could escape
This damned wretched view
