I'm Fines and I Love you's

Saying words over and over again lessens it's meaning every time

I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you

The first time it actually meant something

The first kiss the way your half moon eyes became my universe those were the days when love actually meant something

When the first goodbyes wouldn't be the last because stolen kisses meant so much more when you didn't expect them

When you first said I Love you even though I knew before you opened your mouth

when your lips parted to say the words that I already knew just by the way you looked at me

No other time can ever be as sweet
It's like watered down lemonade

The first time is never the most perfect but it's always the standard you'll never reach again

I'm fine
I'm fine
I'm fine
I'm fine
I'm fine
I'm fine

People have asked so many times if I was ok that sometimes I wonder if they only ask to wipe their conscious clean

The first time I lied I actually tried to sound convincing

It's funny how the second time I didn't try as hard it only meant something the first time

Sometimes I wonder who lies to themselves more the ones around me or myself

The feeling of wearing a mask and wishing to be discovered is the paradox they never teach anyone about

The first time I said I'm fine I said it firmly but not enough to convince myself

I tried to speak it into existence without having any words to define what I'm fine meant to me

It's funny how the first time someone asked me I was relived that someone cared

by the third time I simply noted societies rules

How it's only acceptable to be happy and "are you okay's" turn into fix your sad looking eyes or Ill have to pretend to care that something's wrong .

What do you do when you say words so often that they turn into apologies

Like the last time he said I love you to me became a "I'm sorry for leaving you" and the last time I said "I'm fine" became a "I'm sorry for ruining your mood".
