If the streets had eyes they would witness
all the tears and the blood of the fallen
The streets would see all the hashtags
Of the ones we have sadly forgotten
If the streets had a voice they would say
All the things that some people deny
Because hiding the truth is their comfort
While others live life terrified
You have eyes why do you decide not to open them?
You have a voice why do you decide not to speak?
We are the streets #Black Lives Matter
