When I look at you

I see heaven when I look at you

I see picnics

I see rainy days and puppies and banana pancakes

I see navy blue windbreakers and rock concerts

I see blissful chaos and hurricanes

I see travel and adventure

Aretha Franklin records on an average monday

I can see the same without you in my life

I can see rainbows and butterflies

The image of me smiling in the mirror without you holding me

Even if i'd rather see myself in your amber honey eyes

I can see me without you

I can see a girl turning into a woman

Reaching to a world full of pain and heartbreak and bringing out the good

I can see heaven when I look at me......
