Name: Ren Hatake - meaning  'Love of the Lotus' which of course links to Lee and his use of the Hidden Lotus. Hatake, as you would have guessed is the same name as Kakashi and means 'Farmland' or 'Field'. Kakashi's full name happens to mean 'Scarecrow in the Farmland' is you were interested.

Background:

Ren is the daughter of Kakashi Hatake and an Uchiha teen, convinced a few weeks after the nine tails attack out of drunken grief and bad decisions from both minors. Both grieving from the attack and looking for ways to forget for a time. They both parted ways, Kakashi returning to the ANBU and the Uchiha girl to her clan and boyfriend. When she later found out that she was pregnant, she thought that it was her boyfriends baby and the two got married, however, while he was out on a mission months later, the woman went into labour and realised that this child was not her husbands as they had silver hair. Panicking, she chose to leave her new-born daughter at the Hidden Leaf Orphanage and when her husband returned, she lied and said that their child was still born. While the couple grieved a lost child, the child in question ends up growing up in the orphanage run by Nana Yakushi from ROOT who dies a few years later. During her life at the orphanage, the Uchiha-Hatake child now named Ren picks things up surprisingly fast and realises that the orphans who show the most promise always dissapear soon after. She doesn't understand why this is, but this leads her to playing down her own skill while learning as much as she can discreetly. She later steals the Ninja Training books from Nana's office after she dies and is under the impression that they are meant for academy students. She takes them and trains in secret to pass the time and avoid the orphanage and the civillian school, eventually meeting Itachi and Shisui before the massacare but being forced to forget her knowledge of what happened by Itachi's Genguitsu. After this, she meets Rock Lee and stands up for him against his bullies, agreeing to train with him after the academy ends and this catches the eye of Maito Gai who finds her friendship with Lee youthful. He also notices the similarities between her and Kakashi and after meeting her, realises that she is a genious on par with the man himself, though she seems to be underestimating her own abilities. He finds out that everything she knows is completely self taught and sees potential in her, he contact the Hokage who comes to visit her while training and then offers to test for the academy after evaluating her skill. What he doesn't tell her however, is that the test she is going to take is for Jonin and not Academy Students and she passes with flying colours. She is put under the tutelage of Anko Mitarashi in ANBU around the same year Kakashi leaves to become a Jonin sensei and a few years later, she is sent to join team 7 with Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha. And not to mention her father while neither are aware of their relation to one another.
