Hermione’s POV
After a long sleep, I woke up refreshed and excited. I threw on my sweater and jeans before sprinting down the stairs of Malfoy Manor.
“Someone’s excited,” Draco greeted me from the living room.
I laughed and clapped my hands excitedly, “I just can’t wait for you to see what I got you!”
He raised an eyebrow before leading me over to the grand Christmas tree in the centre of the room. There was an array of colorful boxes under the tree, each with a different name on it. We sat on the soft carpet and looked at the presents. I looked at him and we both sprang for a present. I grabbed the one I was so eager to give him, and he must’ve grabbed one he wanted to give to me because he was grinning like a madman.
“Open yours first,” I urged, passing him the present.
He nodded, “Then you better open yours,” He added, taking the box wrapped in green and red paper. I smiled widely as he ripped open the paper to reveal a black case. He unzipped the case to find a silver guitar. Draco gasped and took it out gently.
“‘Mione… this is amazing… thank you so much!” He hugged me tightly. He cast a spell quickly, summoning a sharpie. He uncapped it and signed his name in cursive on the side of it. He smirked.
“Your turn.”
I took a deep breath and carefully unwrapped the gold and silver wrapping. A hand flew over my mouth when I opened a red velvet box. It contained a delicate bracelet with small silver vines encircling pink and blue gems.. I was even more shocked when it began to glow.
“Draco, what’s it doing?” I asked curiously.
Much to my surprise, he was just as confused as I, “I… I uh don’t know.”
I carefully put it on my wrist and watched as it glowed. Then Draco gasped again.
“Now I understand what the sign said: ‘When given to your true love, this bracelet will begin to glow…’” He trailed off.
I blushed, looking straight into his gray eyes.
“So does that mean I’m your…”
He gave a small, hesitant nod, and I wrapped my arms around him, kissing his cheek. “Thank you,” I whispered. I slowly pulled away, and noticed a lumpy package addressed to Draco. I picked it up. “Draco, this is yours.”
He took it and unwrapped it, to reveal a knit blue sweater with a green ‘D’ sewn in.
“It’s a Weasley Sweater! Oh, put it on, put it on!” I practically screamed. I unwrapped another package, which was my Weasley Sweater, and changed into it. It was gold, with a silver ‘H’.
I looked at Draco, who was examining his. He slowly put it on. I smiled and hugged him, again overjoyed.
“Now, you are going to wear that for the rest of the day. Understood?” I told him sternly.
He put his hands up in surrender and grinned. “Yes, ma’am.”
“Good,” I replied, crossing my arms. Draco rolled his eyes annoyed.
“All day,” I heard him mutter, “All day.”
“Oh, shut up!” I lightly whacked his arm.
“Hey!” He joked, wrapping his arms around me and tickling me.]
“Draco!” I managed between laughs, “Draco stop!” I giggled.
He stopped and looked at me.
