I was very gracefully walking out of the local Barnes and nobles/ Starbucks with 6 books in my hand, covering my face, mind you this was graceful until I ran into someone. The books fell on the boys face as I tumbled on top of him. I scrambled to my feet, blushing from being in so close contact.

"I am so very sorry!" I spat hurrying to pick up the books,

"It's alright, that's a lot of books you
Got there!"

Was it me or was this boy kinda...no I can't think that way about a man.

He was a little taller than me, he had beautiful long blonde hair and a stunning green eye I could stare into all day...oh goodness I sound like a lovesick high school girl.

"Hello?"

Oh gosh I was staring! "I must be on my way!" I scrambled to leave, feeling embarrassed. He just simply waved me goodbye as I ran to my car.

Setting the books on the kitchen counter as I went to look in the mirror. I leaned in close to the mirror as I stared at my eye—or my supposed soulmates eye. It had always been a beautiful green, way more gorgeous than my eye that was just plain brown. My soulmates eye looks oddly familiar but i don't want to assume it's a certain person! That would be a very uncomfortable situation if my assumptions were incorrect.

When I was reorganizing my bookshelf  I believed it would be simple, I tend to forget how much books I gather and read over the years, I always loved to read since I was little, my father thought it was weird but as long as I shut up he didn't care.  If I counted I would have 200+ books but more than 30+ are in my to be read list, that would be finished if my upstairs neighbor weren't so noisy.

Living in an apartment complex is very difficult if the people who live besides or above you are louder than a rock concert.

When I finally finished the bookshelf it was 2 AM, how convenient. I got on my phone and watched my favorite asmrist, chillaxinasmr on TikTok she is beautiful and has amazing content, I always found myself making to her videos stuff on repeat from the previous night.  Before I knew it I was fast asleep.

I woke to a loud thud from above me, how annoying! It was now what...6 AM? I stumbled to the kitchen, with lost hopes of falling back to sleep.

I poured myself a mug of coffee and went on the balcony, maybe there would be a pretty sunset today. I sat on the balcony in my pajama shorts and a t-shirt on, it was quiet nice. The neighbors who lived across from me waved at me, her name is Brisies, we've watched the sunset together a few times, and she liked me at one point but her eye my soulmates do not match, even though she is beautiful I still fell bad, I wanted to wait for the right person.

I watched the sunset and drifted into day dreams, I saw the boy I saw yesterday, I notice his glowing skin, and his beautiful smile, I mean uh everyone has a beautiful smile...anyways I just basically re-lived the moment from the previous day.

Snapping myself out of my daydream I walked inside to get prepared for the day, putting on a random shirt and some jeans.

As I slid my flip flops on I heard music upstairs, I better get out of the house so I'm not bothered by them throwing their parties, doing nasty stuff and all that. I put the door and just drove around wondering what I was gonna do today, today feels like a day for fro-yo, so I started my journey to Odysseus ice-cream.
