𝙎𝙊𝙐𝙇𝙈𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙎 𝘼𝙐 [𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐬]

Waterpark

When we got into the park, we thought,
'oh this will be fun easy little thing to do for fun'

No. These lines were excruciating! We stood near the top of the staircase for the tallest waterslide there, Achilles insisted we ride it.

Looking down, it was kinda frightening.

"Your not scared, are you?" He asked, smirking,

"Maybe a small bit..." I admitted, he laughed as a looked at the view.

We were at the top, with only one person before us.
  "Do you want to go first, Patroclus?"

I nodded, what could be so bad? As soon as they gave me the all clear to go, and the instructions, I did as told and pushed myself down the slide.

"AHHH!"

It was as straight down drop in the dark, for what felt like a thousand hours until I was flat on my back, twisting from constant turns. I saw light at the end of the tunnel, and braced for impact of the water, it wasn't bad besides the insane amount of water in my nose and ears.

  "IM COMING DOWN!" I heard from the inside of the slide, Achilles.

I stepped off the platform, tilting to the side to get water out of my ear.

Achilles came out of the slide and ran to me, shaking his head like a dog, water flying everywhere.

"That was awesome!" he exclaimed. I smiled and proceeded to blow my nose and try and dump the water out of my ears.

"You look silly like that!" He teased then laughed

  "Well, I don't don't plan of keeping water in my nose and ears!"

  "Let me help!" He suggested. He grabbed my face and tilted it to the side, we just stayed there, staring at each other.

"Did the water come out?"

"The what- oh yeah it did."

He laughed, "Now for your nose..." he tilted my head down, I blew out of my nose, and the water came out.

"It worked!" He smiled,

"Wanna go get food?" I asked, 

He lit up, "Sounds great!" Then he grabbed my hand and we walked to the concession stand.

We sat down and shared a pizza and talked for a little.

"So Patroclus, do you have any idea who your soulmate is?" I spit my water out in his face. Oh my.

"I-" we burst out laughing "I'm so sorry!"

"It's ok!" He giggled, wiping his face. He just stared at me.

  I raised my eyebrow at him,"Why are you looking at me like that?"

  "Nothin.."

Confused, I just finished my water and my slice of pizza.

"What ride next, Achilles?"

Someone sitting at a table near us turned around to face us, "the AquaLoop is good for couples!"

  I blushed "oh- we aren't-" I was cut of by Achilles shouting, "OH THANKS!"

I stared at him in confusion as he dragged me along.
The ride is peaceful, it has a nice view of the city that reminded me of why I live here.

  "Wait.." Achilles gasped,

I whipped my head around to look at him, "Huh?"

He grabbed my face and stared at me, my face was redder than a strawberry. "Achilles..what?" He started to lean in, when the ride took a crazy turn, sending me flying out of the raft onto the slide.

"PATROCLUS!"

I was still on the slide just not on a raft, my back hurt from the slide.

Achilles was reaching his hand out for me, I grabbed it, but it pulled him along with me, out of the raft.

We were both falling down the slide, screaming and laughing. When we were at the end we were sunk under the moving water, the raft floating above us. A worker at the park moved the raft and helped us stand.

  "Did you hang on to the handles?"

We just looked at each other then shook our heads.

"We'll do that next time..." I said, embarrassed.

We stepped out if the water completely, both shaken from that crazy experience. We laughed as we walked around for a bit, I was enjoying Achilles company.

Eventually, it started to rain, and I mean thunderstorming. The lighting alarm sounded and me and Achilles ran for shelter. We stood by a cabana and three other families, also seeking shelter.

"Do you want to make a run to the car?"

I nodded, he grabbed my hand and we ran.
