𝙎𝙊𝙐𝙇𝙈𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙎 𝘼𝙐 [𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐬]

The Rhythm

A/N: If you have read the heroes of Olympus or Percy Jackson you will like this chapter extra! The beginning is a little sad but the mad changes drastically! I hope you like this chapter! There is music to listen ti that I attached, If you want to listen DOKT start the music yet, I will tell you when to start it in the chapter!                    
            I sat, waiting for Achilles to return. Was he okay? I wondered and worried for hours, time ticked by as slow as a tortoise. I sat on the bed, a plastic water bottle in my lap, my phone next to me, listening to Taylor swift in one ear, so if Achilles came I could hear him. I was about to give up, and just go to bed until I heard the door swing open, I jumped out of bed and ran to the out of the bedroom. Achilles stood next to the doorway, his expression was blank,"Hi" he said, with no emotion whatsoever. He had dried blood on the left side of this face, and his nose was oozing blood, He was soaking wet from what I assumed was rain from outside. I jogged up to him and traced ny hand along his left cheek, "Are you okay?" He frowned "I lost," I took his face in both if my hands, his cheeks felt warm. "Are you okay?" I repeated. A single tear rolled down his face, but he nodded. I wiped the tear away with my thumb, "Sit down," I told him, sitting down on the couch, Achilles slowly doing the same. I took his hand "Tell me," he looked into my eyes, his full of sadness and despair and it made my heart ache, for his smile. "What happened..." he bit his lip, "I fought him, we said rude stuff to each other and then started fighting, I lost, I was not too badly injured though," he sniffed, took a deep breath than continued the story "I wad trying to get home so I could relax, and..." he he started to cry, I leaned closer to him, and pulled him into a hug, "Its ok, you don't have to tell me yet," he nodded and wiped his eyes with his hair, that was still in a braid but it was damp so it didn't dry his tears as we'll as he expected it to. "Im gonna get rag to clean up the blood on your face, and a towel so you don't get too cold ok?" He nodded, and I went to the bathroom, grabbed a washcloth and ran it under cold water, the pulled a towel of the hanger.
         When I walked back into to Achilles he was fidgeting with his hair, I kneeled down to him and put the wash clothes up to his nose, then to his cheek that had blood on it. Then i used my free hand to wrap the towel around him. "Are you injured anywhere?" he shook his head and held my hands, his knuckles were red and had dried blood on them, hadn't he used boxing gloves? He seemed to know what I was thinking, "We agreed to no gloves"  I was about to respond when I heard a knock on the door. "Ill be right back," I kissed Achilles forehead and walked to asnwer the door. "Hello!" A boy about my age greeted, "Im the new neighbor I think we met before, my names Will!"  I think I remembered him, he had shaggy bright blonde hair and ocean blue eyes,  he seemed like a surfer with all his freckles and his crazy good tan. I waved and introduced myself. "Me and my boyfriend, who's super sweet," he laughed then kept on with what he was saying "were wondering if you would want to come over to our place for a little! We have a few people over and we don't wanna be loud and cheery without you!" He seemed like he could ramble, like he could talk to hours trying to explain why he's inviting me over. I looked at Achilles "What do you think?"  He gave a weak smile, "Im in," he sniffled "Plus, Patroclus needs friends" I shot a offended expression at him, "Achilles you go get some dry clothes on first!"  He huffed and as he walked to our his towel dragged on the floor. "Ill be next door with will!" I half yelled so he could hear me.

        Will guided me to his place, "Chained to the Rhythm" by Katy Perry blasted in the room. People in the room turned to look at me and I smiled and waved. "This is Patroclus everyone!"  People nodded and talked over each other, they seemed really happy. There was about 9 people that I could count in the room. Will smiled at me grabbed my hand, pulling me to a boy, he had black hair, black clothes on and was honestly a little frightening. "This is my boyfriend Nico!" Will smiled, and Nico waved and then went back to his focus playing a card game with another boy there. "Neeks when you and Frank are done playing your mythomagic come interact with people!" He nodded and Will turned to me "You can talk to people, or help yourself to some food set out on that table over there!" "Thank you!" I smiled at him and then I sat down on a stool and start to sway my head to the music, I would have been embarrassed to be in my pajamas if everyone else wasnt in there pajamas too. I could hear laughing, yelling and the music of course! I tapped my foot on the floor to the rythm wondering when Achilles would show up. I closed my eyes and smiled, this is way better than doing absolutely nothing I didn't even notice Achilles enter and sit next to me until he took my hand in his, "Why just sitting here?" He asked, he was right I might as well have some fun, and make some new friends. He smiled and I was happy to see it, I stood and pulled him to the middle of the room. He looked around the room, scanning  everyone. Then he looked me and the eyes and smiled. He took my hands and we got lost in the music. We held hands and danced, not the slow type of dancing but energetic happy type of dance! We tried to dance with the rhythm but Achilles just went all freestyle and since I was holding his hands I had to mostly improvise. A girl with blonde hair pulled a boy who I assumed was her boyfriend to dance next to us, and a few others joined as well. I laughed and Achilles grinned, full teeth. He's so adorable. Through the corner of my eyes I could see Will struggling to pull his boyfriend to dance, he crossed his arms and pouted until Nico, blushing like crazy, finally danced with him. I laughed and then caught Achilles starting at me. "Staring?" His cheeks flushed, he responded  "Yeah," Then he pulled me closer, and than he planted a kiss right on my lips. I know that no matter what stuff our parents try and do in the end me and Achilles are just us and we have many friends who support it now!
