𝙎𝙊𝙐𝙇𝙈𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙎 𝘼𝙐 [𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐬]

Blondie

     As soon as I walk into the shop I see HIM, as in the boy I saw yesterday AND in my day dream, just sitting and eating his ice-cream.

     Why can't I escape him! I walk over to the display area to look at the flavors, as I hear the bells on the door ring, I turn around and a see a man in a ski-mask with—a gun.

     "Everyone hands up!" I put my hands up faster than the speed of light and closed my eyes hoping it was was just a dream! Why would anyone rob an ice-cream store anyways?

     "All the ice cream, in this mini fridge now!" They are stealing ice-cream.

          That's kinda funny but very unnecessary.

      Odysseus starting shoving the ice cream in the fridge, he looked horrified!

      The man in the ski-mask pointed the gun at his head and held it their as Odysseus fumbled to get the ice cream in the fridge. Then I heard someone talk from behind me,

     "I'm at Odysseus ice cream and-" the robber turned around and shot the boys phone, it was the boy from yesterday! Let's call him...blondie?

     Blondie put his hands up, flashed a horrified face and then acted fine, and just smiled weirdly "uh it was nothing bro!" The ski-mask man pointed the gun at him! Not the handsome blond guy- I mean nobody deserves to die! He just stood there looking kinda scared until we heard sirens outside "shit" the ski-mask man mumbled and ran out with the ice cream fridge. Blondie picked up his phone frowned, then burst out laughing, his laugh is kinda cute...no but why is he laughing? An officer came in,

    "are you all ok?!"

    "Yes sir!" blondie smiled, still giggling. The offer looked puzzled but shook it off and started to took notes on the scene.
            
     Eventually they told us we were free to go and by this point it was 3 Pm. Blondie ran up to me, "Hey! Don't go so fast!" He panted trying to catch up with me "—aren't you the boy who ran into me, yesterday?" I simply nodded.

     "What a coincidence!" He laughed

    "may I ask you a question?"

     Blondie rubbed his chin then smiled "sure!" 

     "Why where you laughing after, whatever just happened?"

     He laughed, once again "who steals ice cream?" He giggled, I'll admit it was a weird thing to do.

     "I have no idea" I shrugged. Blondie put his elbow on my shoulder,

     "so what's you're name?"

    I blushed and mumbled my name,  "Patroclus" 

    "Patroclus...hmm I like it" the way he said it...nobody seemed to say my name right, or say my name like he did. It sounded like an angels song- here I go with the lovesick schoolgirl again..."I'm Achilles!" He smiled. Achilles.

         I never would've thought we would be talking for a while, after we introduced ourselves we went to another ice-cream place.

      "So what's you're major?" Achilles asked, we had been talking about collage, even though it was summer and we both took off I guess it was an interesting subject for people our age.

     "I'm planning on getting my doctorate" I smiled, I felt proud to say that.

    He nodded in approval, "Very cool" and then pulled me inside the shop by my hand, I felt my cheeks get warm, but I doubt it's because him...He put his face so close to the display glass that it stated to fog.

     "Don't do that!" I laughed at his antics.

     "I need to get a good look at the flavors!" He complained,

       "alright..." I replied

    He paid for us, which I thought was quite generous, although I would not pay for all those toppings achilles got. We ate and laughed while talking about our neighbors, he also lived in apartments, turns out we only live 3 minutes away from each-other!

     Eventually sunset had arrived and I told him I wanted to get home before dark, so we exchanged numbers. I very discreetly changed his contact to "Achilles <3" not that I love him! I just thought it was cute! After that we hugged goodbye, which  made my face a whole dam (yes PJO reference) tomato! I drove out in the sunset thinking of my new friend Achilles.
