Birthday party

A/N: this chapter is longer than usual cause I love it sm. Also do not come for my art skills I can do way better! I had to draw like I was Achilles drawing a 2 minute stick figure drawing! Anyways enjoy! And there will also be music with this one, I'll tell y'all when to play that if you would like!
I opened my eyes to find myself in Achilles arms, he was talking to a voice and then walking away. My vision wad blurred. I closed my eyes again, not wanting him to notice me awake, not wanting to leave the comfort of his arms. "Bye!" Achilles said, before walking off with me in his arms. He hummed as he walked and I heard keys jingle and a door open. He walked a little more, then set me down on what I assumed was a couch. "Sleep tight birthday boy," he kissed my head, he's so cute. "I love you". I had to resist the urge to open my eyes and yell "I love you more!" He pulled a blanket over me, and brushed the hair out of my face. I could feel my face heat up and I couldn't help but smile. "Patroclus..." he giggled, I opened one eye and gave him a grin, "Omg!" He laughed, and pulled the blanket over my head and holding it down, trapping me. I laughed as I kicked at the blanket, trying to escape. "Let me out!" I begged, "Password" I groaned, its probably sometimes like "Achilles the goat" I rubbed the chin "I love you?" I guessed "It was nacho potato's but that works! He lifted the blanket up and gave me a crooked grin, I leaned up and kissed his head "Carry me to our bed!" I plopped back down onto the couch fully. He pouted, but didn't argue. When he picked me up he acted all strong, he even flexed after he layed me down. "Lay down, dork!" I instructed, he giggled and flopped down beside me. "Good night Patroclus." "Goodnight Achilles" He smiled and closed his eyes, I watched him rest until my eyes gave into the darkness.
My eyes opened, I sat up rubbing my eyes. After my vision cleared up, I saw a waffle with chocolate chips on it and sprinkles on the nightstand, with a card. I moved to sit on the edge of the bed and read the card,
Happy birthday!
      What can I say, you have changed my life for the better. You are so sweet and kind. You always think of others. You are the most beautiful, sweetest person I've ever met. You make my life worth it, and I love you so much. Happy 19th Birthday Patroclus.

My eyes watered, I couldn't help it! He is so sweet! I looked at the bottom of the card, I saw a drawing made by Achilles of us,

I audibly laughed, He drew us so cute! I ate the cute little waffle he made and got dressed, I had to give him time to set up my party according to the card so what could I do? I drew a smiley face in the card so he could see I read it. Then I got ready, maybe I could go grocery shopping? Get my oil changed? Or actually do something entertaining. I decide I would just read and meditate in the park.
          I walked to the park, since the walk was only 10 minutes. Fresh air blew strands of my hair into my face, I swatted then away and found a bench with nobody sitting on it already. I put my legs into a criss cross apple sauce position, and put my AirPods in, not wanting to hear the kids at the park. Don't get me wrong kids laughing and smiling is great but Taylor swift man! I played "style" by Taylor, duh and opened the book I was reading the day before, Radio Silence by the one and only Alice Oseman.
30 minutes later I had finished the book, I closed the book and set it beside me, suddenly somebody came up to me with a microphone, "what song are you listening to!" Was this one if those TikTok's videos? "All the well 10 minute version" "Thanks!" He waved at me then walked away. I sat there, I had two hours until 3, what would I do for two hours? Well I thought I would be bored but I found myself scrolling on instagram looking at fan art for about an hour, and reading fan fiction on wattpad for another hour. I checked the time; 3:24 "Oh already" I said aloud, and them sealed my lips shut. That didn't mean to be said out loud! I got a stare or two and I just dashed off back into the direction of the apartment.

I opened the door and saw the apartment was decorated, with banners and balloons but it was silent beside lady Gaga's "Just dance" playing in the back. Suddenly Achilles scared me from the side, "Happy birthday!" "Ah!" he picked me up and squeezed me in a hug, many people came out of hiding spots, I saw Briseis, Odysseus, Nico, and others from the night before. "Happy birthday!" A few people said and others smiled at me. Wow, so many people came for me! For my birthday! "Thank you..." I said a little to quietly. Achilles picked me up again, "All hail birthday boy!" Everyone cheered and he laughed. I smiled, laughing "Don't drop me!" He dropped me and caught me again, I yelled "Achilles!" He gave me an innocent little smile, "What?" He set me back down to my feet. I rolled my eyes and laughed again, he's a goof ball. I scanned the people and stuff in the room. "Wow, guys..." I was tearing up, I've never in my entire life been shown so much affection and...love. "Presents in 30 minutes everyone!" Achilles announced with a proud grin. He really did plan this all out!
A boy came up to me, the first thing I noticed about him was his ears, they were elf-like. Then I noticed his curly hair. "Happy birthday Patrick!" I smiled, at he tried with my name. "It's Patroclus!" A girl corrected, her hair was choppy with a few sections braided, she had bright beautiful eyes. "Im piper! This dumbass is Leo!" She messed up Leo's hair with her hand smirking and Leo pouted. "Well thank you Leo for wishing me happy birthday!" I said, He smirked "duh!" A blonde guy with Surprisingly entrancing blue eyes cams up to Leo and piper and said something to them and they walked away with him. The next person to wish me a happy birthday was my best friend, Briseis. "Happy birthday!" She pulled me into an tight embrace, "Thank you" I said quietly, she held onto my shoulders "You're 19! I cant believe it! I remember little 15 year old you!" I rolled my eyes, "I remember little 15 year old Briseis too!" She didn't say anything, just smiled. Odysseus walked up to us, smiled, said happy birthday to me and then walked away to talk with Briseis. I sat on the kitchen island, Admiring all the happy faces of my friends. Before I knew it everyone was gathering near me and bringing gifts over. I was a little overwhelmed, Achilles seemed to sense this. "Ok Patroclus you sit on the couch and well all make a circle around you!" I did as he instructed and so did everyone else in the room. The first present I opened was from Nico and Will, it was a few stuff, in a cute bag. It was a reading light, a few bookmarks, a candle and a 20 Barnes and noble gift card, gosh how did they know everything I like? I opened gifts from a few more people, like Briseis, she got me a signed copies of all 5 Maze Runner books! It was finally narrowed down to Achilles, he wanted to be the last to give me a present to make it "extra special" but before I could open the box he stood up, "I need to say a few words!" I nodded, motioning for him to go ahead. "Patroclus, I love you, and I think its time for a little company..." silence. "That's your que to open it!" The back haired and bright green eyed boy siting on the coffee table said. I carefully opened the box, and heard a "Meow" Oh my gosh! Achilles got me a cat! I covered my shocked expression with my hand, "Briseis told me you always wanted a cat! And the lady at the pet store said she's friendly!" She's so cute! I picked her up and put her in my lap. She licked my arms and sniffed me, I giggled, what was I gonna name this cat? "It needs a name!" Nicos sister said, I think her name is hazel. "Hmm..." I thought about it for a moment "How about Helen!" I suggested Achilles smiled, "Ill be dead by next week, to much cuteness in this apartment!" "Me or Helen?" I asked smirking "both," he said giving me a small quick kiss, not trying to be awkward in-front of all the guests. "So cute!" Will squealed, his face flushed from embarrassment and he was quiet for a little. "I love you," I told Achilles, and it was the full truth. I do really love him. "Happy birthday patty!" He took my hand and leaned on my shoulder, petting Helen with his other hand. "Thank you for the cat." I told him, he smiled "She's cute ain't she?" I nodded "Very cute indeed!" He stole Helen from my lap into his, he was already falling in love with my cat, stealing ny Helen! But I have to admit this is the best birthday I have ever had!
