Chapter 7: Rogue One

After a little break, we all met back in the nerve center of Star Labs. Cisco was happily pacing behind the desk. 

"I figured out a way to track Captain Cold." 

"You gotta stop naming these guys" Caitlyn shook her head.

"I think it's cool," you said emphasizing the word cool. Cisco laughed.

"Oh, not you too," Caitlyn said sighing.

"Barry listen to him," Dr. Wells said motioning for Barry to turn around. 

He turns around from looking at the screen and answers Cisco. "How?"

"The cold is powered by an engine control unit. A microcomputer that regulates air to fuel ratio so the subcool fluid in the chambers don't over fuel and-" Cisco explained.

"-explode" Felicity finished.

"Right! This ECU was receiving updates wirelessly from my tablet. If I boost the signal using Central Cities network and send a false update, we'll get a ping back. And we can locate Rogue One" Cisco finished.

"Is that a Star Wars reference?" you asked him smiling. He grinned wide and nodded.

"How long will it take?" Barry asked.

"Uh, first I have to hack into the cities network, so I don't know 30 minutes maybe?" Cisco guessed.

"I can do it less than one. When it comes to hacking, I'm the fastest women alive," Felicity said sitting down at a computer and cracking her knuckles.

"That was not as badass as I pictured." After tapping a few seconds on the computer, she brings it up. "Alright I'm in."

"Alright now sending the updates. We're connected." Cisco confirmed.

"Network is triangulating a location."

"We got him. He's heading west on Nelson towards the train station" Caitlyn said.

"If he's leaving it appears Mr. Snart may have gotten what he came for" Dr. Wells added up.

You and Barry rushed to get on your suits.

"When we put our minds to it dude nothing can stop us" Cisco celebrated.

Barry turned his earpiece off. You sighed and kept yours on.

"Oh, you turned your earpiece off how are we gonna talk to each other?" Cisco looked confused.

"I don't feel like talking right now" Barry said before running off.

You looked at Cisco. "I'll keep you updated." You said giving a small smile. He nodded back before you went after Barry.

When you arrived at the station you saw Snart get onto the train. Barry stopped in front of him on one of the cars. You went behind him. 

"There's nowhere to run" Barry shouted.

"I didn't see you before" Snart said pointing the cold gun at him. He looked back at you. "A hero in blue, I like it." You stood your ground. He turned back to Barry. "Your mom know you're out past your bedtime?"

"If you wanted to get away you should have taken something faster than a train" you said coming up behind him a little more.

He turned his head and eyes slightly to the side towards you. "That's if I wanted to get away" he said smiling. 

Your eyebrows furrowed. He turned back to Barry. "I've seen your weakness at the armored car and at the theatre. See while you're busy saving everybody I'll be saving myself." He blasted the ground which froze the train wheels and stepped towards the car door. "Good luck with that" he shouted before making his leave out of the train car.
