The sound of Mick throwing his knife into the wall of the Waverider broke you out of your concentration. You were currently seated in the middle of the hallway of the loading dock playing a card game with Leonard.

There had been somewhat of a grace period between the three of you along with a silent agreement between you and Leonard to not talk about it until you were ready since the whole incident in Star City. You decided not to talk about anything with Leonard until he worked things out with Mick, however from your perspective it looked more like feelings were being ignored rather than worked through.

"Don't pay any attention to him. He's still sore about having to leave 2046." Leonard spoke to you without looking away from his cards.

"I'm sore because I was recruited for my unique ability to light things on fire. And now, I'm locked in the one place where I can't light things on fire: a spaceship" Mick passed over your card game frustrated and continued up the stairs.

"Where do you think you're going?" Leonard finally looked up at him in the middle of the stairs.

Mick stopped and turned around to look at him. "Why? Are you going to clock me in the head if I don't listen again?"

You felt yourself cringe internally at his statement and looked toward Leonard again trying to read his face. He didn't reply and just stared at Mick as Mick turned around and left. It had been like this for two weeks now. Although you couldn't blame them. You yourself were getting antsy waiting for the next time you would encounter Savage.

This was really the first time you had any quality time with Leonard that was not related to the mission. Even with things still left unspoken you felt a calmness in the silence. Although you felt the looming dread of the conversation coming to light sooner or later. Honestly you were past all the trying to fight him nonsense. When the time came to talk, you would talk to him seriously and listen. You wanted to move past this. But in this moment, all you could offer him were these few words:

"Are you okay?" you asked him.

"Yeah, peachy." He responded with bitterness in his voice despite trying to mask it.

Peachy as in the way everything was peachy with his dad you thought, your mind going back to when you and the rest of team Flash helped him and his sister with their dad.

Shortly after Mick left, you and Leonard, along with the others, were called to the console room. Apparently the Waverider just intercepted a message from someone calling for help from aboard a ship called the Acheron. Everyone seemed to be thinking the same thing and you admit you were a little suspicious of it as well.

"And we care about this chick why?" Mick asked looking board.

"We don't. But the Acheron's computer will contain the current intel on Savage's whereabouts. Gideon, set a course for the Acheron's position in deep space" Rip instructed.

"Yes captain."

At those words Professor Stein grew excited. "Deep space? I had no idea we had the ability to explore the unknown realms of the galaxy. Astonishing!"

"No," Jax responded to his statement "what's astonishing is that were acting as roadside assistance for the people whose chasing us."

"Doesn't it seem suspicious this distress call just happened to reach us?" Leonard butted in.

You nodded your head agreeing with Leonard. "Yeah, it could be a trap."

"Yes, we don't know if it's a trap but what we do know is that Savage's trail has run cold. And unless Gideon can upload the intel from the Acheron's computer-" Rip was cut off by Mick.
