Chapter 14: I Know a Guy

Since your rendezvous with Leonard, a lot had changed. You learned that Dr. Wells was the man in the yellow suit. In other words, the man who killed Barry's mother. And now he had kidnapped Eddie. 

In other news, you pulled a Barry and decided to meet up with Iris in your super form so you could tell her you now had a name other than the Blue Streak. It wasn't long before your new super name Diamond caught on. 

It also was not long after that that Iris found out Barry was the Flash and that you were Diamond. Oh, boy was she was mad at you guys, but you figured she would come around. Right now, you couldn't really worry about that. 

Currently, you were in the cortex at Star Labs. Cisco said he had some insight on Wells. He had the wheelchair in front of him and a big gulp from big belly burger in one hand.

"I kept asking myself why would Wells need a wheelchair?" Cisco pondered.

"Sympathy I suppose" Caitlyn shrugged.

"That's what I thought at first but he's the man in yellow. He's the reverse flash. He's much smarter than that. Sympathy can't be the only reason."

"Yeah, it's a misdirect. Just like everything else that Wells has done. I mean the last person we'd expect to be the man in yellow is someone who lost use of their legs." Joe explained his take on it.

"That's exactly right Joe," Cisco said setting his drink down and taking hold of the wheelchair. "Which is why I started messing with the wheelchair" he flipped it over. "And that's when I found this" He slid something across the bottom revealing a hidden chamber. 

"Damn you can't get that at radio shack" Joe said bending down to look at it.

"That looks like the tech inside Gideon" you observed.

"I measured the output, and this thing is kicking off serious juice I mean I'm talking enough to power all of central city." Cisco explained his results.

"What do you think wells was using it for?" Barry asked.

"I think this thing is some kind of battery as in Wells was using it to power himself to gain more speed and that's why he's so much faster than you guys" Cisco answered.

Just then a beeping went off. Cisco ran over to the monitor.

"The accelerator. It's been reactivated" Cisco said a little panicked.

"Can't be" Caitlyn furrowed her eyebrows walking over to the monitor.

"How's that possible?" Joe asked.

"It had to have been rebuilt" Cisco said.

"Wells..." You and Barry looked at each other.

"Even if he did rebuild it how did Dr. Wells turn the particle accelerator on?" Caitlyn asked.

"He's here...." You spoke.

"That's why we couldn't find him he's been inside Star Labs the whole time" Barry said.

Joe went into action, pulling out his gun and heading to the hallway and everyone followed. 

Caitlyn stayed behind.

You guys slowly walked through the hallways to the entrance of the particle accelerator.

Once you made it you approached the door cautiously. 

"Cisco what'd you bring the orange soda for?" Joe asked him noticing what he was holding.

"Whenever something happens with the reverse flash liquid floats in the air. Barry's fish tank, Well's champagne, Liz's coffee. Remember that? If this does the same thing well know that Wells is in there." Cisco explained.
