Abigail sat on her bed reading a book under candle light when a soft knock sounded at the door. She looked up and saw Elizabeth slowly enter and close the door behind her.

"Is everything alright?" Abigail asked. Elizabeth shrugged and came to sit next to her sister. Abigail closed her book and put it on her bedside table

"You were right. He proposed." Elizabeth sighed and lied down. Abigail did the same. They both stared at the ceiling.

"What did you say?" Abigail asked and Elizabeth let out a long sigh.

"Nothing. I fell off a cliff." Elizabeth muttered and Abigail nodded.

"Thats a good reason to not give an answer." Abigail responded with a small smile. "What would you have said if you hadn't fallen?"

"Thats the thing, I don't know. I went into it expecting to say yes but when it happened I didnt....it didn't feel right." Elizabeth shrugged.

"I wish we could just forget today and start over." Abigail mumbled and Elizabeth nodded in agreement.

"Do you think James and I are compatible?" Elizabeth asked sounding upset. Abigail turned to face her sister.

"Do you want honesty?" Elizabeth nodded and Abigail sighed. "I think he's a good man, just not for you. He needs someone wild and adventurous who can handle his snobbery."

"I think you're right. In the morning I'll tell him no." Elizabeth sighed in relief. The girls both sat up quickly when they heard cannon fire and screaming. Abigail stood up and opened her curtains.

"The village is on fire...." Abigail mumbled and looked at Elizabeth. A maid suddenly burst through the door making them both jump.

"Margaret what is it?" Elizabeth asked in fear. Margaret looked at both of them and took their hands in hers.

"The pirates. They've attacked the town and they're headed for the house. You both must hide quickly." Margaret pulled them towards a closet.

"We can't hide we must help the people and the other staff." Abigail tried to fight back but Elizabeth pulled her into a closet.

"Abigail please." She pleaded. Abigail yielded and let Margaret shut them in the closet. Elizabeth fiddled with the medallion around her neck.

"You still have that bloody thing!?" Abigail whispered in exasperation.

"It's just a medallion it can't be that important." Elizabeth whispered back. They heard floorboards creak so they both stopped talking. Elizabeth gently grasped her sisters hand and they looked at each other in fear.

The door was ripped open and Elizabeth let out a small scream. 2 pirates both filthy looking stood before them. A bulkier looking one knelt down in front of them with his pistol in their faces.

"Ello pretties. What have we here?" He used a knife to look at Elizabeth's medallion.

"Lets kill em and take it!" The other pirate exclaimed. Abigail thought fastcand just as the bulky pirate nodded and raised his knife she yelled .

"Parley!" Abigail exclaimed. The sick look on the pirates faces diminished and they looked rather angry.

"What did she say?" The tall lanky pirate asked. The bulky one stood up straight and looked at him.

"Parley. We have to take them to the captain. It says so in the code." They mumbled amongst themselves. They looked at the girls with malice in their eyes. "Get up girls!" The sisters carefully stood and they were both grabbed by a pirate.

"We'll be ok." Abigail mouthed to Elizabeth who nodded. They were pulled out of the house and through the town.

"Abigail!!!!" A voice yelled Abigail turned and saw Will fighting to get to her. She smiled slightly but her smile dropped when a pirate came behind Will and hit him in the back of the head with his pistol.

"Will!!!" Abigail yelled as he fe to the ground. She tried to run to him but a pirate picked her up and put her in a boat as if she weighed nothing. Her eyes watered as they were rowed away from the land.

"He's okay, that hit wouldn't have killed him." Elizabeth stated soothingly Abigail nodded slowly. They reached a large black ship and carefully climbed up. Abigail looked around and recognized the ship.

"Elizabeth I saw this ship 8 years ago when we found Will." Abigail mumbled. Elizabeth fiddled with the medallion.

"It's all connected." She muttered. Footsteps approached them and a pirate wearing a large black hat walked pver to them. He must've been the captain.

"Ello lasses. I hear ye said Parley. The names Captain Barbosa at yer service." He smirked and Abigail tried not to look into his yellow eyes. Elizabeth spoke up for both of them.

"We're here to talk to you about this attack on our home. We wish for you to leave abd never return." Elizabeth spoke with power in her once shaky voice. Barbosa laughed and shook his head.

"Why would I do that? There's no reason." He chuckled and Abigail looked at Elizabeth and pointed to her own neck. Elizabeth nodded and ripped the medallion off her neck.

"Ill toss this into the ocean if you don't. You'll never see it again." Elizabeth stated. Barbosa chuckled.

"Why would we want a useless medallion?" He asked as he took a step closer to her. Abigail took the medallion from Elizabeth.

"Fine then. If it's useless why keep it?" Abigail pretended to throw it off the ship and all the pirates gasped or yelled in protest. Elizabeth smirked at Abigail.

"Useless? I think not." Elizabeth crossed her arms over her chest. Barbosa chuckled and smiled clearly trying not to show how frazzled he was.

"Fine, ye give it to us and we'll leave abd never return to your little town." Barbosa stated and held out his hand.

"You swear?" Abigail asked. He nodded.

"On me honor." He nodded yet again. Abigail slowly handed over the medallion. "What be her names?" He asked as he placed it in his pocket.

"Elizabeth and Abigail Turner. We're maids in the Swann household." Elizabeth spoke up.

"Turner ay?" The look on Barbosa's face told them they made a grave mistake. "Prepare to set sail!" He yelled and started to walk away. Both girls followed him.

"You have to take us back its part of the deal!" Elizabeth yelled with desperation on her face. Barbosa turned to look at the girls.

"The deal was we leave and never return. There was no part where we had to take ye back. Welcome to the Black Pearl, enjoy your stay." He nodded and 2 pirates came and grabbed the girls.

"No! You have to take us back!" Abigail screamed as she and her sister were taken away. Barbosa merely chuckled and shook his head.
