Tempest sat in a boat floating down the river with Jack, Will, and Gibbs all sat as well. Some of the others pirates rowed quickly.

"Why would Jack want to come down here?" Tempest asked as she watched her bother stare at the water nervously.

"He is acting a bit odder than normal." Will stated. Gibbs looked at them.

"There is a legend of a beast that roams the waters. It takes down ships and eats the poor souls on them." Gibbs spoke mysteriously.

"Just get on with your silly legend Gibbs." Tempest hissed looking irritated. He stopped talking and crossed his arms over his chest.

"The Kraken, many believe it exists but I do not." He added.

"Then why talk about it?" Tempest asked. He opened his mouth to speak but the boat bumped into the small rotting dock.

"Come now men! We don't have an eternity!" Jack moved quickly until he got to a small hut.

"This should be good." Tempest snorted.

"We need to be patient....." before Jack could finish Tempest pushed past him and opened the door.

"Hello? Is anyone here?" She asked. Jack came in amd tried to shush her.

"Well, if it isn't Jack Sparrow." A voice chuckled from behind them. A woman woth dark skin and long dreadlocks sat at a desk in the corner with a wide smile.

"Tia Dalma! You look lovely as always!" Jack made his way towards her. She chuckled and shook her head.

"So charming, I forgot that this is why you get what you want most of the time." She played with his beard. Jack closed his eyes happily. "So handsome, so strong, so....."

"Obnoxious, I know." Tempest cut her off in disgust. "We didn't come here to watch Jack flirt." Tia Dalma watched her wearily.

"I sense something about you. Lots of pain and despair beneath the surface." Tia Dalma slowly walked in front of her.

"Jack ask your question." Tempest grinded her teeth. Jack cleared his throat.

"Where can I find this?" He handed Tia Dalma the cloth with the key on it. She stared at it with a deep look than proceeded to sit down.

"The key of Davy Jones? You're looking for Dead Man's Chest?" Jack nodded.

"You have heard the legends have you not?" Everyone nodded but Will.

"Obviously not the real one if you believe this picture is what you need." She threw the picture in the fire and Jack cringed.

"Tell us." Will sat down. She nodded. Tempest leaned against the wall.

"Davy Jones was a man of the sea, he never loved anything more, until he met her. He fell in love with a woman with hair white as the clouds and eyes blue as the sea her voice was like a sirens, it pulled you in and you never wanted to go back."

"Great, it's like Romeo and Juliette isn't it?" Tempest grumbled.

"She became pregnant and had a daughter. Shortly after she grew ill and died. Because of his curse to guard and protect the sea he couldn't take care of the child so he had to give her away." Will listened intently whilst Jack was getting distracted. "The pain of losing the woman he loved and his daughter was too great so he carved out his heart and locked it away from the world. He became a monster."

"That doesn't answer my question Tia Dalma darling, where is the key?" Jack turned to her and asked.

"To ensure no one would be able to get to the chest he used a sea witch, myself, to enchant the child. She is the key. Only she can open the chest and get you to the heart."
