As the sun started to set Isobel sat in the sand staring into the water. Abigail kept glaring over at Jack. Elizabeth paced in the sand and Tempe stared blanky into the sea.
"We're all going to die here." Elizabeth muttered and shook her head.
"No we're not. If we make a big enough signal a ship will surely find us." Abigail stated. Isobel looked at her.
"How're we going to do that? We have nothing here to use." Isobel asked. Abigail looked over at Jack.
"We have rum." Abigail looked at Elizabeth and Isobel.
"Jack will never allow us to waste his rum." Isobel whispered to make sure Jack wouldn't hear it.
"There's only one solution. Isobel you need to get him really drunk so he passes out then we take his rum and make a signal." Isobel looked horrified.
"You want me to get a pirate drunk? That's ridiculous." She mumbled and shook her head.
"It's not ridiculous if you want to get off this island alive." Abigail hissed and Isobel looked over to Jack and met out a small whine.
"Fine, but if he trys anything ill hurt him." She angrily walked towards Jack.
"Elizabeth go try and find wood." Elizabeth nodded and rushed away. Abigail slowly walked closer to Tempe. "We have a plan to get off the island."
"I heard. Hope it works out." She muttered softly. Abigail sat beside her.
"Is there anything you need to talk about?" Abigail asked hesitantly. Tempe shook her head. Abigail sighed and stood up to walk away.
"I was pregnant." Tempe suddenly said. Abigail looked down at her. "I found out I was pregnant. That's why I joined Barbosa. If I didn't I would've ended up on the island with Jack." Her eyes watered. "I guess it didn't make a difference. Abigail slowly sat back down.
"What happened to the baby?" She asked softly.
"I lost it. I guess it's karma. I deserved it for what I did to my brother. Maybe if I hadn't betrayed him, just maybe the baby would be here now." Abigail looked at her with compassion.
"You did what you had to do. You chose the best option for you and your baby at the time. You didn't want to do it for you but you had to do it for them." Abigail stated and stood up again.
"Dont try and condone my actions. I betrayed my own brother." She hissed with glossy eyes. Abigail shook her head.
"You have 2 options now. Get up and deal with it help us escape and save Will do something to make up for it all or sit here and be sorry for yourself and we can all possibly die. Your choice." Abigail walked away. Tempe glared at her as she left.
Isobel sat beside Jack as he continued to chug his bottle of rum. She watched him in disgust.
"You know love, I always felt we had this..... connection." He mumbled as he inched closer to her. She looked up at the sky.
"Im not sure where you got that from." She muttered. He chuckled. And threw an arm around her shoulder.
"Admit it, you feel something for me." He smirked.
"Disdain?" He chuckled.
"A real feeling love." He laughed and sipped more rum. She quickly removed his arm.
"That is a real feeling." She mumbled to herself.
"I think us being trapped here together is a sign." He leaned towards her and she leaned back. Suddenly his eyes rolled back in his head and he went down. He landed on her lap and snores sounded from his mouth.
"Just perfect......" she mumbled. She quickly pushed him off and stood up. She made her way over to the other girls who were loading rum crates around the trees. The sun was beginning to rise.
"Where is Tempe?" Isobel asked.
"Right here." Tempe replied as she walked over from her spot on the sand. Abigail smiled at her.
"Would you like to do the honors?" Abigail asked. Tempe nodded. Elizabeth handed her the torch they took from their bonfire. Tempe smiled and threw it onto a crate of rum.
The sun rose and the waves crashed on the sand. The fire still burned and smoke billowed into the sky. Isobel sat beside Elizabeth Abigail stood by the fire and Tempe paced in the sand. They heard footsteps and Tempe stopped pacing when Jack walked over.
"Why's there so much smoke? Where's my rum?" He mumbled as he rubbed his face.
"We used your rum to make a signal fire." Tempe bluntly stated. Isobel nodded. Jack's face was a mix of horror, hatred and hysterics.
"All of it!?" He yelled. Tempe nodded.
"Every last bottle. Even took the one you didn't finish last night." Tempe smirked slightly. Jack looked like he was about to go into cardiac arrest.
"I.... you...." he reached for his pistol but it wasn't there. Tempe pulled it out from her belt.
"Go for a walk Jack." She stated. He glared and marched away. Abigail came running over with a large smile.
"I see a ship!" She exclaimed and hugged Elizabeth. "We're saved!"
..........The Dauntless.........
Isobel climbed up the ladder and saw James standing. He rushed over to her and pulled her into a tight hug.
"I was worried sick about you!" He exclaimed. She nodded.
"Im ok." She mumbled into his chest. Abigail climbed up next and went over to James.
"The pirates took Will. We have to go save him." She stated. He shook his head.
"It's too risky." Tempe climbed aboard and scoffed.
"Some royal navy. No wonder why so many kings have been killed." She hissed. James glared at her.
"Who's this? Another pirate?" He retorted. Tempe glared at him.
"It's my lovely sister." Jack replied as he pulled himself up and was quickly cuffed.
"James please. We have to save Will! I love him!" Abigail exclaimed. James shook his head.
"James do it for me!" Elizabeth yelled. "Do it as a wedding gift!" James looked at the ground.
"No." Isobel stated and pushed away from James. "You're going to do it no matter what."
"It's too risky and not worth the lives we'll lose." He grumbled.
"You're being a Coward. What's the point in being a Commodore if you won't fight for the people you're assigned to protect?" She asked. He looked at her in shock. "Yes Will is poor and he's not royalty or nobility or anything like that but when you became Commodore Norrington you swore an oath to protect the people and last I checked He was one of those people." She spoke strongly. He nodded.
"Prepare the ship to head out. We attack Isla Del Muerta and we don't leave until we have Mr. Turner safely on board!" He yelled out the order. Isobel smiled. Abigail hugged her.
"Thank you." She smiled and rushed away with Elizabeth.
"Im proud of you Isobel. You're turning into a great woman." James smiled. "Lock Mr. Sparrow and his sister in the brig."
"As if that's happening. I'm going to stay right here and I'm going to fight with you whether you like it or not. Borington." She stated and shoved past some soldiers. Jack nodded.
"What she said minus the fighting with you part." He added and followed after her.
"This is a disaster...." James mumbled.
