Chapter 19

When I opened my eyes, it was already the next day and I was still on Mason's chest.
So it wasn't a dream after all.
I tried to get out of his grip without waking him.

,,Britt?" said Mason in his sleepy voice.

His eyes were still closed.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you," I said.

,,Come back to bed," he said.

,,No, Carla is leaving again today and I have to say goodbye" I explained.

,,But she's probably with a guy in one of the rooms," he said.

I didn't like that he talked about her like that, but he was probably right.

,,But I have to go to the bathroom," I explained.

,,No, the last time you were alone in the hallway, I almost killed someone," he said, opening his beautiful eyes.

,,I'll be careful this time too," I said.

,,I said no!" he roared.

,,Don't tell me what to do," I hissed back.

,,Britney, I said no," he said and stood up.

,,And I said don't tell me what to do," I said.

,,You're driving me crazy," he said.

,,You're not exactly easy either," I replied.

,,Wait, I'll come with you," he said.

,,Thank you," I murmured.

Mason put on a white shirt with his black pants.

Shit!

I had forgotten to get dressed.

,,Look away, I want to get dressed," I said.

,,You want me to look away? After last night's action?" he said with a grin.

,,Yes, and now look away and give me my dress," I asked.

,,Whatever you say" he said and gave me my dress.

I quickly put on the tight dress from yesterday.

,,Mason?" I asked.

,,Yes, baby?" he said.

The way he called me baby made my stomach tingle, but I didn't let on.
Does that mean we're a couple now?
Or does he call every girl baby?

,,Can you close my dress in the back?" I asked, noticing how he looked at my body and swallowed.

,,Sure," he said stuttering.

It's amazing the effect I have on him.
It's almost as if he's as attracted to me as I am to him.
He came over to me and grabbed my hips first while slowly sliding up and zipping me up.

,,You're so sexy, Britt," he whispered in my ear and immediately I felt a tingle in my stomach.

,,Hands off, you distract me!" I said and opened the door.

Mason laughed softly and followed me.
On the way to the bathroom I saw Carla.

,,Hey Britt, remind me never to drink again" she said.

Her makeup was smeared and her hair disheveled.
I had never seen her like that before because I never went to parties with Carla.

,,I feel the same way," I said, giggling.

,,Hey, Mason," Carla said, chewing her lip.

,,Hello," he said, rolling his eyes.

I'm going to throw up.
They hadn't slept together last night, had they?
