This chapter includes a sexual sceneIt's the semifinals game and it's a packed house. I scan the crowd for my mom and dad. After I spot them, I see Sean sitting on the front row near our coaches box. Even though LaShae hasn't been able to play, she continues to be very helpful to the coach and the team. Coach is also thinking about hiring LaShae as one of her assistants since one of the others will be moving to another state with her husband.
LaShae thought that Sean's parents would have an issue with her being pregnant since she's African American, but his parents were so excited. They've already started buying things for the baby. I'm so happy that things are going in a positive way for them. Sean is so in love with LaShae and I know for a fact she's in love with Sean.
Now in my zone, I walk towards the huddle and right above the team bench, Andre is sitting. Not looking directly at my face, I can see he has a confused look on his face. I didn't realize I'd be so excited to see him. As I waved at him, he blinked a few times and waved back. That's when I see that sexy smile. He mouthed "good luck" and I gave him a thumbs up.
We were playing the same team as we played in last year's semi finals so I knew this was going to be a fight till the end.

I had no more strength. We played our hearts out and finally came out with the victory. The students went wild. Everyone was on the court yelling and chanting. I let out a sigh of relief because I know I made several mistakes on the court tonight, but I'm so glad we were able to pull through.
My mom and dad were able to find me through the crowd on the court. My dad picked me up in the tightest embrace. I thought he'd crack a rib.
"Daniel, you're going to hurt the poor girl!", my mom said.
She was just jealous that he got to me before she did. Once he put me back on the floor, it was my mom's turn to hug me.
"We're so proud of you Tahleea." She said with the widest smile on her face. "Do you feel like going out to eat with us?"
Agreeing to go out for a late dinner with my parents, I sprint to the locker room to take a shower and get dressed. Once I'm done getting dressed, I grab all of my belongings and head back to the court to meet my parents.
Before I reach them, LaShae comes up and gives me a chest bump. Well we couldn't jump up in the air because of the little one she's carrying but you get the picture. We talked about the game and I told her I was disappointed in myself for some of the mistakes I made on the court. She reassured me that the best of us make mistakes but she was proud of me for not allowing it to get in my head and cause us to lose the game. She said I was a boss on the court! I just laughed at her and thanked her for the boost of confidence in me.
Looking around, she came closer and asked if I'd seen Andre. I told her that we spoke before the game but I hadn't seen him since it was over. She gave me a really big grin and told me that she thinks I should give him another chance and that he's crazy about me. LaShae wasn't one to get involved in other's business but I guess she just felt like giving her two cents in this. I told her I had been thinking of Andre a lot and I really missed him. She smiled and grabbed my hand.
"Let's go find your parents. We'll talk later, ok?"
"Okay," I said.
Dinner was great. My parents told me they were back together and were staying at my mom's house. They were gleaming with happiness. As long as they are happy, then I'm happy.
After dinner, my parents dropped me off at my apartment. I could barely walk after all of the food I had eaten. I was as full as a tick. I opened the main entrance door and walked in. I could tell LaShae was home because the lamp light was no longer on in the commons living room. I walked down the hallway to my room and unlocked the door.
