The next morning, I got out of bed and into the bathroom. The hotel has a small gym so I dressed to go workout. When I arrived at the little gym, the California crew was already working out. I walked in and spoke to the guys and went straight to the elliptical. No one mentioned what had transpired the night before. At least not at that time.

I slipped on my Bose headphones and began my workout. After two hours of cardio and light weight lifting, I was sweaty and ready for a shower. The guys had left thirty minutes prior to me finishing up. I'd planned on staying in the room all day, but I decided to visit Mrs. Malzon.

After returning to my room and getting myself together, I called Dre to see how he was doing. He talked about how much he missed me, but he was holding everything down. I got tickled because I have no idea what he could be holding down. He reminded me to set up a doctor appointment and I promised I'd do that. He was on his way to visit his parents, so we chatted during his drive. As soon as we finished our conversation, I called the doctor to set up an appointment for lab work. I then called Mrs. Malzon. We decided to meet for brunch at a nearby restaurant.

I was so excited to see Jaxon's mom and sister. After hugging one another, we sat down to catch up. The waitress came by and took our food and drink order. Before I could resume the conversation, Mrs. Malzon blurted out.

"I don't think she's the right one for Jaxon. She makes excuses not to come with Jaxon when he visits. While he's here, she doesn't even call to check on him, he has to call her. He's just not the same. Not to make you feel bad, but Jaxon was happy when you guys were together."

I told Mrs. Malzon that Jaxon told me that she makes him happy. She said Jaxon makes her happy because all she does is spend money. She went on to explain that Sharie doesn't work and Jaxon said he's noticed that she makes large withdrawals from his account. At first it was three or four hundred dollars here and there, but now it's more like two to three thousand dollars every few weeks. I asked if he has any idea why she's spending that much money a month. Jaxon's sister said she asked him but he only says she's trying to keep up with her circle.

"Her and her friends just wait around to catch a man to take care of them. Not just any man, a man with money that can pay for all the procedures they have done."

I could tell Jaxon's sister was really upset and she expressed her dislike of the fiancé. I felt bad for them but more for my friend. He deserves so much more than what he's getting, but he's an adult. None of us can tell him who to be with. I told Mrs. Malzon and Jaxon's sister I was sorry and I want Jaxon to be happy. They wanted me to talk to Jaxon, it's not my place.

Our food had finally been served and as we were eating, Mrs. Malzon looked at me, "I thought it would have been you. I can see you being my daughter."

I just smiled up at her. "Jaxon and I were so career minded that we allowed one another to slip away from the other. It took Darah telling me before I realized it. I love your son and would do anything for him, but he's getting married in two days and I'm engaged."

Jaxon's mom and sister gasped excitedly for air. I showed them my ring and they raved over it. They asked if I was happy. I told them I'm happy and ready for the next chapter of my life to begin. A tear fell down on Mrs. Malzon's cheek.

"I guess the hope of stopping the wedding and pushing him into your arms is out of the question now huh?"

We all laughed.

"No I don't think Andre would appreciate that."

After we were done eating, I paid our tab and hugged them goodbye. I honestly felt bad for Jaxon's mom and sister. They want him to be happy and so do I.

After meeting Jaxon's mom and sister, I went back to the hotel so I could chill out for a while. As a friend, I really wanted to talk to Jaxon, but I also didn't think it was my place to question him about his relationship with his fiancé. Especially two days before the wedding.

I turned on the television and started watching MTV music videos. Watching music videos helped me keep up with all the latest dances. Since I was a little girl I've always loved to dance. One of my most fondest memories is of my mom putting me on her hip when I was little and dancing around the house. Then as I got bigger, she and I would have a dance contest to see who's the best dancer. On Saturday afternoon, we'd also watch Soul Train. There were some really good dancers on that show, and I would stand in front of the television and dance right along with them.

I laid my head on the pillow and watched TV until I fell asleep.

I awake to someone knocking on my door. Darah and Isaac were the only ones that knew my room number. I knew it couldn't be them because they were spending the day with Darah's parents. I got up from the bed and walked across the room to the door. On the other side stood Eric. How in the world did he know my room number. I opened the door just as he was about to knock again. He looked frantic.
We stood for a second as he looked me over.

"Eric! How did you get my room number?"

"Darah called me and asked if I would check on you. Andre has been trying to reach you."

I told Eric I had fallen asleep and thanked him for checking on me. I closed the door and rushed to my phone. I had six missed calls; two from my parents and four from Dre. I called Dre and he answered on what seemed like a half of a ring.

"Tahleea baby are you alright? I've been trying to reach you to make sure you scheduled your doctor appointment. Why didn't you answer?"

I told Dre that I had fallen asleep while watching tv and that I'd also scheduled my appointment. He said that he became worried and called Darah to check on me. I told Dre that I was ok and that I had gone out earlier to have lunch with Mrs. Malzon. He told me he was glad that I was ok and he's ready for me to come back home. I told him I felt the same. I really missed my man and was ready to be in his arms.

After checking in with Dre, it was time to talk to my parents. I missed them as well. I told my mom how I had been feeling lately. She had the same idea as I, my iron and B levels must be very low. She told me to make sure I ate iron enriched foods like nuts, chicken and spinach. I haven't been eating enough the past few weeks due to planning my wedding, so I've got to get back on track. I don't want a repeat of a few years ago. I decided I'd go out for dinner so I could order a balanced meal.

Later that evening, before going out for dinner, I received a call from Jaxon. He wanted all of his crew to meet him at Pin Palace to bowl and end the night at Hoppers. I was down for that but I told him I had to have dinner first. I told Jaxon that I had been feeling tired and thought my iron was low. Of course he had to scold me. He knew I wasn't eating right because he had been through this with me before.

"I'm coming to pick you up and take you out for dinner. I will make sure that you eat the right foods and enough."

I tried to decline for fear of his fiancé or someone she knows seeing us and getting the wrong idea, but he said he didn't care about all of that and would pick me up in an hour. I got up and took a quick shower, brushed my teeth and washed my face. Since we were going bowling and to the club, I put together a versatile outfit that was suitable and comfortable enough to wear to both places.

I put on a pair of light washed mid waist skinny jeans, red and black sleeveless crop top with a long flowing cardigan and a pair of red and black Jordans. I packed a pair of heels to wear in the club. I was ready for the evening festivities with my crew.
