I slept the whole plane ride back to Huntsville. Andre didn't lie when he said he wasn't going to let me sleep. Last night was amazing.
After landing, I grabbed my suitcase and made my way to the passenger pick up. As soon as I walked out, Jaxon was standing at the passenger side of his car waiting on me. Before I cleared the doorway, Jaxon met me and grabbed my carry on bag and suitcase and placed them in the trunk of his SUV.
We got in and made our way to my apartment. During the ride, Jaxon asked if I was hungry. I told him that I was, but too tired to stop for a sit down dinner. I needed something quick so once I got home I could shower and get in bed. I have a big project that I need to finish tomorrow so I know it's going to be a long work day. Jaxon stopped by Wendy's and ordered a chicken Caesar salad for me and a burger combo for himself.
We didn't talk much. He knew that I was tired. When we pulled up to my apartment, Jaxon got out of the car and ran to the passenger side to open my door. After I stepped out of the car, he closed the door and went to the trunk to get my bags. He walked behind me as I made my way into the apartment.
"Stand at the door Tahleea. I'm going to do a walk through to make sure everything is ok."
I really appreciated him making sure that I'm safe before he leaves. Walking back into the living room, he gave me the all clear with two thumbs up. I giggled at his antics. He smiled at me. Dang why am I just now noticing his dimple. He's so damn cute and fine. Meeting me at the door, Jaxon kissed me on the cheek and said he was glad that I was back. I closed and locked the door. Too tired to unpack, I rolled my suitcase case to my bedroom and went into the bathroom to take a shower, wash my face and brush my teeth. When I was done with my routine, I put on a cami and jumped in the bed.
Before I could doze off, I heard my phone vibrate. Digging through my purse to find it, I hurriedly answered the call recognizing that it was Andre.
"Hello!"
"Tahleea is everything ok!"
I explained that I answered the phone in a hurry because I had to dig through my purse to find it and I didn't want him to hang up. I could tell by his voice that he relaxed after my explanation.
"I just wanted to check on you. I know you're tired. You had quite a workout last night and this morning."
"Yes I'm tired, but I'm not going to complain. I loved every bit of that workout."
"I'm glad that I was your workout partner. We need to do that again soon."
I told Andre that I would be back in Dallas at the end of March for LaShae and Sean's baby shower. He said he can't wait that long. I just shook my head. For some reason I have a feeling that Andre has no intention of taking things slow. We said our goodbyes and I hung up the phone. Before I could close my eyes, I received a text from Darah making sure I'd made it back. I let her know that I was back, already in bed and I'd see her at work tomorrow. This time I allowed sleep to take over.
The rest of the week went by in a blur. I was so busy working on my project and making sure the PowerPoint was ready for the presentation. The week consisted of work, a quick bite to eat, shower and sleep. I didn't have a chance to talk to anyone all week.

Everything went well and my director was very impressed. Friday couldn't come fast enough. I got off work, went home and took a long hot shower and put on my favorite lounging clothes; volleyball shorts and a tank top. I decided to do some channel surfing as I relaxed.
After about thirty minutes of watching Good Times, there was a knock at my door. I went to the door and looked out of the peephole. Standing outside was Jaxon, Darah and Isaac. Opening the door to let them in, Darah rushed in asking me why I wasn't dressed. It had totally slipped my mind that we were going to Atlanta tonight. I apologized to my friends and told them to go without me since I hadn't had time to pack. Darah threw her hands in the air and rolled her eyes.
