Three months quickly passed by. Violet and Loki had grown so much. I was now working with Kenji. I didn't go on missions or anything, I just stayed in the office really. I helped operate the transportation of warfare with Suki. Ema and I were good with banking numbers as well. I haven't gone on a mission yet. Apparently it was too soon and Kenji didn't want me to get hurt, but I was so ready. I've gotten good at it over the months. But I knew that the work I was doing in the office might've been best for me. Zara was four months pregnant. The baby bump wasn't huge, but it was slightly visible if she put something tight on. She stayed in Italy with Lorenzo. We visited each other every other week. As for Lucia, her and Suki really hit it off. She stayed in Tokyo for a few more weeks after my birthday. She spent some time with Suki and I. After a while, she went back home, but she's been back and forth to Tokyo. I gathered up my files, got up, and brought them to Kenji's office.

"Here you go Mr.Suzuki." I smiled, setting them on his desk.

"Thank you Ms.Johnson. That skirt looks good on you. Maybe a little too good."

"Work attire Mr.Suzuki."

He nodded. "Yeah. Anyways, sorry for missing breakfast. I had to leave early this morning. A warehouse of mine was blown up. We caught two guys, but they're not talking. I'll have to make them talk." His dark tone was a turn on for me.

"Yeah, you do that." I bit my lip.

"I'll be home late tonight. Is that okay with you?" He looked me up and down.

"Yeah. It's fine." I smiled. "Just don't be too late." I smirked. "Babe, I'm gonna go now. I have to binge watch Twilight again."

"That shit's so cringe." Kenji rolled his eyes.

"Cringe, but entertaining." I bent over, giving him a kiss. "I love you."

"I love you hanni." He smiled.

I ate popcorn as the movie played. Edward had thrown Bella across the room and Jasper was being held back. I put my popcorn down and walked to the bathroom, relieving myself. I flushed the toilet and started to wash my hands. A glass shattered somewhere in the house. I jumped, quickly turning the water off. I looked over to my bed where Loki and Violet were.

What the fuck.

I got my phone and texted Kenji.

Hey. Are you home? Because if not, someone's here.

There were guards outside. They never came in. The woman who was nursing the kittens when they were younger had been done with her job two months ago. The house was supposed to be empty. I turned the tv and the lights off, reaching under one of the night stands for the gun. I picked Loki and Violet up and took them to the closet, setting them in and closing the door. I tiptoed out of the bedroom, going down the hallway and down the stairs.

Bitch you're supposed to be running.

I knew I should've ran, but someone was in the house. My babies were upstairs. I did what any cat mother should do. I walked down the hallway and my blood ran cold. There laid a man on the floor in the darkness. A pool of blood was formed around him. I got a closer look. It was one of the security guards. I got out my phone and texted Kenji again.
