Charlie's POV (Capricorn)
Tell Pia.
No don't tell her, it'll break her.
Charlie, be logical and tell Pia. It's best she knows.
No, I can't. She's as fragile as Leo's ego. She'd be lost.I tapped my fingers, alone in the mansions library. No one ever comes down here since they're all in the game room usually.
I was having a really annoying internal conflict with myself about whether I should tell Pia about how close Bella is with Samuel. I know there's a chance Sam doesn't like her, but Bella held Samuel as if he belonged to her.
And I know that Pia gets really blushy and cares a lot about Samuel. I'm not sure if she likes him, either, I'm just assuming here.
I care about Pia a lot, everyone does actually. Seeing her broken would be heartbreaking for everyone.
I softly bit my nail as I stared at my book, not reading at all. Just stuck in thought.
...
Ugh. This is why I hate feelings.
"I figured I'd find you down here." I heard a masculine voice mutter. I flinched and looked up at the owner.
Cole softly smiled at me. "Didn't mean to scare you." He said. I sighed and instantly looked back at my book, picking up my sassy attitude again. "You didn't scare me." I mumbled.
He sat next to me and looked over at the book I was reading. Why is everyone always interested in what I'm reading? They usually never understand the language.
I glanced over at Cole, then he turned and looked at me. His black hair was a mess, and his bluish grey eyes were shinning with an emotion.
That emotion being... I think... Happiness? Never heard of it.
I raised an eyebrow. "Can I help you?" I asked. He grinned softly. "Nope, just want to irritate you." He said.
I rolled my eyes. "Please, you sound like a fire sign." I said, looking back at my book.Cole shrugged. "I don't know, you're just easy to mess with. But you're also scary." He said.
I stared at my book, unfazed. "Your logic makes no sense." I mumbled. He smiled softly. "Hm. I'm a water sign, I'm not logical." He snarkily said.
I looked at him and rose an eyebrow. "You have two options. To leave, or a broken nose." I said. Cole grinned at me. "Aha, temper temper." He said. "I really came down to let you know that dinners ready. 'Caldwell' or whatever his real name is, made something really fancy." He explained to me.
I looked at him, much more interested. "Is that so?" I asked, then I glanced back at my book. "I'm not hungry." I said. Cole narrowed his eyes at me. "Oh? When's the last time you ate?" He asked.
I internally bit my cheeks at that question...
"Unimportant." I answered. He then put his hand on my book and pushed it down on the table, his gaze much more serious. "Charlie, when's the last time you ate?" He repeated.I furrowed my eyebrows at him pushing my book down, and I looked at him. I felt a small shiver when I saw that his usual playful, caring and sweet gaze shifted into something more stern and concerned.
I eyed his bluish eyes for a few seconds. I opened my mouth to say something, but nothing came out. I struggled to tell him the truth.
"Okay, I'll eat." I said, giving in. I grabbed my bookmark and placed it in between my page, then left the book on the table. Cole sent me a skeptical glance, then smiled softly. "Good." He said.We both got up and he began walking me to the kitchen.
Cole started humming something as we walked, and I just crossed my arms and scoffed. "Water signs are so annoying." I mumbled.
