39 - Pumpkins

Gabriella's POV (Gemini)

It was the night before Halloween. Caldwell is made dinner already. He made burritos, since Leo requested for 'fun' food. It was after dinner and I think Caldwell already left because he's always off his shift after dinner.

I sighed and rubbed the towel against my wet hair. Hot steam fogged and clouded the mirror, I could hardly see myself but I didn't really need to.

It was after my shower and I was currently manually drying my damp hair. After I dried it enough, I put the towel away and started brushing through my light brownish blonde hair.

Yesterday when we went to Spirit Halloween, we bought Halloween decorations for the house since some signs insisted that it was completely necessary. And today we all tiredly spent all day decorating.
We put up pretty autumn colored Fairy lights around our walls, we put up bats, ghost, skeleton decorations all over the house.
Everyone is sure taking advantage of Thomas' money, and I mean, who wouldn't?
Summer even bought a 5 foot tall ghost stuffed animal. Now it sits on our couch. We named him Bob.

Tonight was a special night since today we all got pumpkins, and we were all going to sit in the backyard, carve some pumpkins and make some s'mores around the fire pit.
Tonight is gonna be so much fucking fun, I think.

I skipped happily out of my bathroom and into my room. The steam of the bathroom swiftly puffed It's way into my room. I was wearing some plaid pink pajama pants and a Patrick Star pajama shirt. I really love spongebob.

I made my way into the water girls room. I saw Codi and Pia on the couch, watching TV.
I don't know why, but I always hang out in the water girls room. I mean, I'm not even that close with them but for some reason, I just do. I love their room and I love watching TV with those girls.

Codi smiled softly as she saw me walk in. "Hi Gabby!" She chirped. Pia then raised her gaze from the TV and looked over at me. She then smiled and waved. I grinned and went over on the couch, throwing myself onto it and beginning to watch TV.

Codi jumped a little when I threw myself onto their couch. She sent me a small smile. "Uhh, you might not want to get too comfortable since we should be going downstairs soon." She said. I groaned loudly. "I just sat down." I whispered.

Pia smiled and hopped off the couch. "Well I don't know about you two, but I love s'mores." She said, beginning to make her way downstairs.

Codi looked at me, then got off the couch. "I'm going downstairs as well." She said. I sighed and rolled my eyes and got up. "Okay okay I'm coming!" I said, following her.

We both made out way into the backyard. It was gorgeous outside. The sky was already a deep blue, with the slightest shine of orange, pink and yellow emerging from the very bottom of the sky. The sky was sprinkled with stars that flickered and blinked here and there.
The moon was out, and it was in a gorgeous Waning Gibbous phase, shining bright.
The trees around were mostly just branch, and there was leaves all over the grass, (which has been raked already, probably by Caldwell.)
Fireflies shone, then disappeared, emerging and playing around the grass, flickering their lights.
All that could be heard in this beautiful atmosphere was the loud chirping of crickets, some people talking, quiet music that was turned on Gabriel using his speaker, and most of all, the soft crackling and clicking of the fire.

Vincent was near the fire pit, somehow strengthening and intensifying the fire. Almost everyone was already outside with their pumpkins. There was 24 knives (all of different shapes) on the table, along with all the pumpkins and some buckets for the inside of the pumpkins.

"Gabby Gabby Gabby!" I heard someone chant behind me. I turned around to see Lia holding a tray with 3 bags of marshmallows, 3 packs of biscuits, and 3 bars of plain chocolate. She smiled warmly at me. "Aww, you're so pretty!" She said, putting her tray on the table.
