Summer's POV (Sagittarius)
I sniffled and sneezed into my tissue. I felt horrible. I felt my nose burning unpleasently, a gross taste in my mouth, a headache. My chest hurts from coughing, and my body is weak.
I sniffled and continued watching TV in the fire girls room. I didn't even know what I was watching, it was a random new cartoon on Cartoon Network.
I grumbled, grabbing the remote and opening Hulu, then turning Friends on.
As the crowd laughed on the TV, my eyes began closing slowly. Everyone was sick, we all felt horrible.
The ones that weren't effected as much were people like Charlie, Chase, Skyler, Vincent, Parker, Tyler, Cole and Codi.
Everyone was so sick and stuck in their rooms that the way we communicate is mostly through the group chat. My phone is constantly vibrating with their messages. They were the ones who weren't as drunk, I guess. I don't even remember jumping into the pool, or anything with the pool in fact. The only thing I remember is being with Vincent, a rush of cold, and that's it.
I heard a door open but I didn't bother to check who it was. "Sum..."
Recognizing the voice, it was Lia.I turned my head to her. It looked like she just showered since her hair was wet and she was wearing long sleeves, fluffy pajamas.
She weakly walked over to the couch and sat next to me, instantly crawling in my blanket and making herself comfortable.
I glanced at that girl. "How do you feel?" I weakly mumbled. She only slowly closed her eyes and gave a small shrug in reply.
God, this is shitty.
I glanced over at Alexis' door. I feel bad for her, she was one of the most sick out of all of us, and she's been sleeping for hours. Tyler and Parker occassionally come in to take care of her, giving her medicine and soup and tea, but I heard she's not eating or drinking anything because of nausea.
This has me thinking, was the party a success or failure? Everyone has different opinions about it.
The optimists see it as an experience that we'll all one day laugh about.
Pessimists see it as a fail, obviously.
Then there's the in betweeners who see it as both.
Personally, I'm on the optimists side. Sure, we're all basically hollowing our lungs out but at least we had fun!I glanced over at Lia who was basically falling asleep while sitting down. Poor girl was pale and horrible.
I sighed out of boredom. I was hungry for some action, exercise, movement. But my body weighed me down with the freaking sickness.
That's when I heard the fire girls door open from behind. I turned my gaze to the door to see Vincent and Chase. I grinned wide. "Hey guys!" I chirped.
Vincent gave me a smile and walked over to me. He was holding a glass of water and a pill, and he handed me both. "Hey, Sum, how you feeling?" He asked, his hazel gaze moving from the pill to my eyes.
I grabbed the pill and water and sent him a smile as a thank you. "Like shit~" I cooed warmly, popping the pill in my mouth and drinking it down with water.
Chase came up next to him, then looked down at me, crossing his arms. "Oh really? Maybe shouldn't have jumped in the pool then." He snarkily added with a soft head tilt.
I glared at that boy, my eyes narrowing. "Chase, I swear, the moment I feel better is the moment I'm going to drop kick your nose." I threatened half jokingly, looking away from him.
I saw Vincent break into a smile, probably holding back laughter. And Chase just rolled his eyes. "I'll get you a ladder to make it easier then." He retorted back, glancing down at me with his brown eyes.
