(sorry, I have slight writers block today)

Valerie's POV (Virgo)

As much as I hate to admit it, Leo's party wasn't a total mess. Probably cause Charlie forced him to do things he probably wouldn't do himself.

All 24 of us were in the living room, but the huge sliding glass doors were opened to the back part of the mansion.
And oh my god, was it beautiful. There was a giant, massive field in front of us, but it was sheltered due to the gate around the house. But of course, the gate had a door that could easily be opened.

There were some comfy looking chairs, tables, and a giant pool that was decorated to look like it was made by nature, having rocks around it and plants taking over, also having colorful lights around and in it so it glowed at night.
The big porch contained chairs and a barbecue grill. Overall, it was something you'd find in your dreams. The backyard was pretty huge.

I was hanging out with the other girls, not really knowing what to do. Surprisingly, there was no booze at the moment. Probably since it was only 11. I think after midnight, everyone would want to get a little crazy.

I didn't even have dinner yet. I'm starving.

Most of the girls were talking with one another, but I didn't listen. I glanced over at Pia, the girl I got along with well so far.

She seemed to be dazing out. She probably slept earlier than this time, but forced herself to stay awake. Pia slept a lot to calm herself down. She slept after organizing her room, for a couple hours, actually.

I decided not to bother sleepy Pia and get up to get some food, cause I was starving, I wasn't sleepy, and I didn't want to be a part of the other girls gossiping. I walked over to the food stand and grabbed some cake, which someone here made freshly. Wish I knew who so I could compliment the chef- well, baker.

I ate the chocolate cake calmly. Since everyone had something they were doing, I just wanted to sulk in the corner for now.
I looked around and noticed Skyler going outside the sliding glass door secretly. I rose a brow. What's he up to?
He seemed mysterious ever since he walked in here.

I quickly finished my cake and threw the plastic fork and plate away. I then calmly went outside, so no one suspected anything.

No one was actually outside at the moment, which surprised me.

I walked out onto the porch, looking around and seeing Skyler on the very side of the house, seeming to be hiding.

I hesitated, but walked up to next to him. After getting a better look at him, I found the reason for his hiding.

Smoke left his mouth, a small roll of a cigarette between his middle and index finger.
He was leaning against the wall, a leg over the other, and his free hand in his pocket.

I went up next to him. "You smoke?" I asked out of the blue.

He didn't look at me, but replied. "Hello to you too." He mumbled, putting the cigarette to his mouth again, inhaling, then pulling it away and blowing out the smoke.

I coughed a bit from it, then went by his side. "You know that stuff kills you." I explained, raising a brow at him, purposely ignoring his words.

Skyler didn't seem effected, and I don't blame him, everyone says the same things but it doesn't stop people.

"So does alcohol, drugs, pills, weed." He named. "But we do it anyway. Why? It feels good." He mumbled a bit, seeming to be trailing off.
I noticed him fumbling in his pocket, before he took out a pack of cigarettes and showed it to me, offering me one as he glanced down at me.
