Taylor's POV (Taurus)
Where am I going? I dunno.
Why am I going? I dunno.
Do I just want to lay at home and watch a movie with some food? Yes.Summer was fun, no, it was great. I got to do what I want and my dad or little sister didn't have to put an eye to me.
Then school came in, and everything became a disaster.I was invited to Quasar High School for some reason, I mean, I don't have that good of a reputation. My grades are ok, I guess, it's kinda weird but I'm alright with it.
At the moment, I was packing up all of my clothes in a suitcase since my dad insisted I go to this quality high school. It seemed interesting, but I didn't want to leave my family.
I love my dad and sister, they were both my life and everything, but dad wants me to acknowledge the fact that this is only for a year. Even if it is for a year, I'm going to miss them.
I put my last piece of clothing into my suitcase with a small exhale. That is, until my sister, Tess, came in with a grin.
"Are you done Taylor?" She asked curiously, tilting her head, her soft, blonde hair swaying along with the movement.
I smiled warmly at her. Tess was only 10, but she was my best friend. She understood everything that went on with my life, but I'll always wonder how she's still unceasingly positive about me leaving her for a year.
I bent down to her height a bit, leaning on my knee. "Aw, you make it sound like you won't miss me." I fake pouted, smiling at her.
Tess' eyes dilated and she rapidly shook her head, suddenly embracing me. "I'll miss you, Tay!" She reassured, her small arms wrapping around my neck.
I smiled and wrapped my arms around her back, hugging her warmly. "I'll miss you too, Tess." I say more calmer.
She pulled away from the hug, smiling at me. "You're so pretty. When you come back, you better have a boyfriend!" She smirked a bit.
I laughed. Tess was always trying to get me a boyfriend since she believes I need one at my age.
"We'll see." I suspired with a smile, not wanting to break her heart, then got back on my feet.
Just as Tess was about to lecture me about being a grown woman and getting a boyfriend, my dad walked in, examining me and my sister before smiling. "Hey, ready to go?" He asked, keys in his hand as he stood by the door frame.
I looked over at my dad. He looked nothing like me; brown hair, hazel eyes, I got more from my mother's side, even though I hardly know her, all I know is that we look similar due to dad's words.
I glanced at my dad, then looked down and back at him. "Um, no." I said sternly. I hated anything that had to do with abrupt changes or anything that just randomly happens. It's irritating.
My dad gave a raspy laugh. "Aw, Tay, it won't be so bad. Again, this is a new school, new life. You need the education before anything." He explained, stepping in my room a bit.
I sighed and crossed my arms, averting my gaze around my room before looking back at him. "Even family?" I asked, not trying to sound sassy even though it sorta came out that way. I had no bad intentions.
My dad smiled. "Nothing comes between family. Me and Tess will always be here for you to when you need us." He reassured me, his gaze determined.
I cracked a smile. "Alright." I acknowledged. I trust my dad so, I don't think it will be that bad. At least this school is providing me with ten times more of the things my old school did, and better, for free.
