Lia's POV (Leo)
I leaned closer to the mirror, drawing red hearts under my cheeks with face paint. I hummed Thriller by Michael Jackson and then moved the red stained brush to my nose. I drew a cute little red heart on the tip of it.
I leaned back and looked at myself in the mirror. My face was covered by white face paint, along with cute small red hearts as freckles. I also shaped my lips as a red heart. I even got special red false eyelashes with hearts at the end of them! Don't ask how much they were, they weren't cheap and I'm not proud of it.
I grinned and bit my lip softly in happiness of how pretty I looked as the queen of hearts. Oh! My costume.
I ran to my closet and tried finding my pretty dress. I finally found it. It was a poofy white dress with red hearts and red designs. And the chest area was covered in queen of hearts cards from solitaire.
I undressed myself from my pajamas, then began putting the dress on. I then turned to look at myself in the mirror, my official costume done. I looked gorgeous! And I mean, more gorgeous than usual!
I guess I should explain what's going on. The Halloween party is tonight!
Everyone already prepared downstairs with snacks, drinks and the obvious tradition of candy!
Caldwell already came around and made us dinner, and he's off his shift now. So it's just the 24 of us having the best night of our lives.
I grabbed my phone and looked at the time. 10:38 PM. I grinned wide and looked back at myself in the mirror. I fluffed my big black, red and white dress and then fluffed my hair. I looked amazing.
"Lia Lia Lia!" I heard someone scream outside my door, than ran inside with a loud thump. I could've sworn they broke my door because it hit against the wall so hard by their impact.
I looked to see who ran in my room and I narrowed my eyes. "Summer! You almost broke my door!" I complained with hand movements.
Summer looked up at me and started pouting instantly. "I-I... I need your help Lia." She said, pouting even harder. I crossed my arms and looked at her with a confused angry expression. "What happened?" I asked in a sigh.
Summer pouted. "I... I can't do the Harley hair!" She complained. That's when I really examined her. She was wearing the new Harley's outfit as a costume. Her make up was done very cute, she even dyed her eyebrows with blue and red! Her hair was in two big ponytails on the top of her hair, and I could see the struggle she had with the temporary spray on hair dye because of the stains.
I sighed and grabbed her hand. "Come here you." I mumbled, then sat her down at my vanity. I grabbed the hair sprays from her hands and began spraying away, fixing the mess she made.
Summer just smiled and stared at herself in the mirror. "I'm so freaking pretty Lia! Oh and so are you! I love the queen of hearts look!" She said, bouncing.
I smiled softly as I continued to dye the bottom of her pigtails red and blue. "Thanks!" I said, then finishing up her look.
With a grin and a jump from her seat, she twisted and twirled in the mirror, looking exactly like Harley Quinn. She gave a toothy smile and looked at me. "Thank you thank you thank you! Now let's go downstairs, the party's gonna start!" She chirped, bouncing excitedly.
I smiled but couldn't even get a word in when she grabbed my hand and pulled me out of my room and into the fire girls room. I saw Alexis and sent her a smile. She was a skeleton for Halloween. She had black face paint and a simple white skull painted on it, along with her adorable outfit.
Also, she dyed her hair black! A sudden decision for Halloween, but it actually really suited her.
