Skyler's POV (Scorpio)

"I cannot believe you kids! What the hell were you thinking?"

I scoffed inaudibly, looking away. Thomas is getting on my nerves.

"Listen Thomas, these things happen. Just don't make this situation any harder for us than it already is." Charlie grumbled, sniffling softly.

It was the day after the Halloween party. And we were all sick. Everyone either had a cold or a fever, mostly because most (intoxicated part) of the party jumped into the pool yesterday. Now we all had to suffer.

And we were on the phone with Thomas, who was still out on his stupid business trip. And he was pissed because we couldn't attend school anymore, which is weird since I would've expected him to be worried about our health more.

We were all sitting in the living room, some people had their blankets around them, shivering. Everyone was sneezing and coughing, it feels like the black plague all over again.

"Alright. Just don't get Caldwell sick and please don't make his job any harder. Stay home and don't do anything stupid." He said on the phone.

"Yeah yeah. We get it." Chase grumbled, holding the phone with one hand, his other hand rubbing his temple angrily.

"I still don't understand why you kids would jump into the pool in the middle of fall at nigh-" He began but got cut off by an angry Alex.

"We were drunk." He truthfully admitted with an attitude.

"I'm sorry Thomas." Pia struggled to say, coughing. "We didn't mean to." She continued weakly, cuddling into her blanket deeper.

We heard a long sigh on the phone, and I could've sworn I saw half of the room roll their eyes and give annoyed glares to Chase's phone.

"Alright. Alright, alright. I have to go. Get well soon, all of you. And remember, don't do anything stupid." He said.

Sky, who was next to me, growled, tightened her grip on her blanket and glared at the phone. "Yeah, we fucking got that, chief." She snapped.

I put my hand on her back and softly rubbed it to calm her down. In return, she leaned into my chest and closed her eyes, visibly shivering.

Chase began saying his goodbyes to Thomas, obviously wanting to hang up. Once he did, he let go of his phone and let it fall on the couch, rubbing his pointer finger and thumb against his eyes. "That man is fucking unbearable sometimes." He mumbled.

Gabriella and Autumn were next to each other, sharing the same blanket and shivering. "I get why he's m-mad..." Autumn mumbled in a shiver.
Gabriella glanced at her and then looked at Chase. "Yeah... What we did yesterday was f-fucking stupid..." She muttered.

Chase let go of his eyes and looked at them. "That too." He said.

Autumn narrowed her eyes at him. "We were drunk. So we have an excuse." She argued quietly.

Chase rolled his eyes at her. "Yeah, okay. Whatever. Everyone should get some rest." He said, coughing and then getting up.

Majority of the room began following his lead and weakly got up, walking to their rooms or other places to get rest. Coughing, sneezing and sniffling filled the room.

I looked down at Sky, who seemed to fall asleep on my chest. I rubbed her back. "Sky?" I gently called.

She didn't reply. "Sky." I said. Her eyebrows furrowed and she gave me a groan in reply.
