38 - Loudmouth

Tyler's POV (Taurus)

"I don't care what you say, Ty. I'm dying my hair black." Alexis said, stubbornly crossing her arms and turning her caramel gaze away from me.

"Alright. I think it'll suit you." I said with a small sigh. Her impulsiveness is a lot sometimes.

She grinned and turned to me, excitedly bouncing. "I know right! It'll toughen out my appearance to match my personality, I think." She exclaimed happily, her gaze bouncing around the room, then looking up at me.

I smiled. She was so cute when she was all happy and energetic and bouncy like that. I could never understand how she has that energy. I'm lazy as hell.

"Well are you gonna make the appointment now because Halloweens in a couple of days." I asked which didn't really sound like a question.

Alexis perked up, and after a few seconds, she softened back down. "Wait. I don't know any good hair stylists here. I'll go find Lia and ask her since she's been to one I think." She explained.

I shrugged. "Go for it. I'll look for my costume in the meantime." I said. She grinned and gave a last punch on my arm as a farewell, then ran off to find Lia.

I then looked outside. I watched as brown, orange, red and yellow leaves began falling off the trees, leaving nothing but branches. It was a pretty sight. Until...

"Ugh! I'm telling you Auggie. He's pink and purple!" I heard Autumn argue. I looked to my side to see the two Aquarians, Autumn and August getting in the isle I was in.

"No, he's literally grey and blue. Have you seen the movie?" August argued, crossing his arms at his 'sister'. Autumn facepalmed. "Ugh." She said, then looked at me. "Tyler, will you tell this dumbass that Cheshire Cat is pink and purple?" She asked, referencing her hands to August.

August rolled his eyes, then looked at me. "He's grey and blue in the movie." He argued. I pursed my lips. "He's pink and purple buddy." I said truthfully.

Autumn grinned and turned to August. "Ha! He's pink and purple in the original movie, not the 2010 one." She said.

August pouted softly. "Why'd they change his color..." He mumbled to himself.

Wondering where this argument came from, I scanned them to see Autumn holding a Cheshire Cat costume. It seemed to be a big pink and purple striped dress with a hood that had cat ears on it. The skirt seemed to have a long fluffy tail. It also came with big fluffy pink and purple striped boots and dark purple stockings.

I looked at Autumn. "You're gonna be Cheshire?" I asked her. She looked at me and grinned. "Yep!" She chirped happily. "And I'm gonna be Pennywise! But a sexy one." August said, winking. He then nudged Autumn. "She's gonna do my face painting stuff!" He said.

Autumn looked straight into my eyes with annoyance. "I regret everything." She said. August laughed and put an arm around her shoulders. "She's just mad cause I'll get more attention than her dumb kitty cat costume." He teased.

Autumn rolled her eyes. "No I'm just mad cause I'm gonna be making you a clown when your mom already did that for me." She said. August looked away sarcastically.

I bit my lip to hold back a laugh, but I broke into laughter anyways. Wow, the Aquarians are funny. They're like the twins in Alice in Wonderland.

"I don't think I'll be anything creative this year. I'll probably just be Jason again." I said with a soft shrug.

Autumn then jumped. "Oh! I saw a Jason costume! You gotta hurry cause there's only a few left." She said, then she grabbed my sleeve and led me to the Jason costumes, August following us from behind.
