She cleared her throat, "Ibrahim..."

'Oh my God!!! Surely, it's not who I'm afraid that it is. Because if it is, then he is probably going to want to kill me.' I thought to myself.

"... Annandale Mazur Badica. Only there are very few people in the world that even remember the fact that he is actually a Badica. I mean they could find out if they tried very hard. But thankfully none of them have ever tried hard enough to find out." She sighed in relief.

"Wait!!! Zmey is your father?!!!!! Zmey is a royal?!!!"

She laughed. "Yes, to both of those questions."

"Holy blya der'mo Roza!!!! Do you know what that means mladenets?" (fucking shit, babe)

"Uhh, no." She sounded uncertain and concerned.

"Roza lyubov' moya, you are a royal." (my love)

"No, I'm a dhampir."

"Milaya, a dhampir can hold the title of a royal as well. It just depends on if the highest ranked of their royal moroi family wants them to not only hold but claim the title publicly. Which far too many of them don't, but they... well you, are still technically a royal." (honey)

"Really?!!!"

"Yes, milaya. They passed that into law while you and Lissa were away from the academy." (honey)

Now, I actually had to wonder if Roza moya was the very reason that Tatiana had pushed so hard for and passed that particular law. And by that, I mean that Tatiana had told the council that it was going to become law. And she didn't give a der'mo whether they liked it or not. She said that all royal dhampir, at least three generations out, must be recognized and treated as royals to their lines. If the dhampir did not want to be recognized as royals then that was fine. But otherwise, they would be recognized and treated just as royal as the moroi. She also said that if a dhampir did not know if they had royal ancestry or not but did want to know. Then they could come to court, free of charge, and be tested, also free of charge. My sisters and I did not need to do that because we had never not known that our father is a Ivashkov. Because he had NEVER let any of us forget that. But none of us had even tried to register as royal dhampirs, simply because we all HATED that sukin syn. (my, shit, son of a bitch)

"I wonder if dede knows about this?" She said as she thought out loud.

"Dede?"

"My paternal grandfather."

"Ahhh."

"Does this mean that I don't have to be a guardian?"

"Wait, do you not want to be a guardian?"

"Do you..."

"Yes, Roza." I chuckled.

"Not really. I mean, I don't really think that I should be."

"What do you mean mladenets?" (babe)

"Lissa and I have talked about it quite a bit over the last couple of years since the crash. And we both think that it would just be far too dangerous, for the both of us, for me to become a guardian. Anyone's guardian."

"What do you mean?" I agreed with them, but I wanted to know specifically what she meant.

"I mean... they are a lot closer now Comrade."

"Can you tell how many of them there are?"

She closed her eyes and tilted her chin up slightly for a moment, she looked like a wolf who was scenting the air, and then she said, "there are four of them Dimitri."
