"What are we going to do once we get to the academy?"

"We will only be able to stay for a couple of days before we have to leave to start going to the funerals. The first one is Janine's, and it is in Scotland. She told me once that she wanted to be buried next to her mother, so that is what I have arranged for her. I also arranged for Akeem and his family to be buried in our family plot in Turkey. But we will leave Turkey shortly after the funerals. Because I don't want to take any chances of Rose you or any of the rest of us, that Victor is after, being there when the estate is attacked. Which is also why we will be staying at a non-disclosed location instead of on the actual estate itself. We will not be anywhere near the estate after dark. We will hold the after-funeral reception in the banquet room of one of the hotels in town. But no one will know which one until they depart from the funeral, I will have people there handing out cards with the hotels address on them. I will also be transferring my guardians from that estate to other locations before the funerals. I don't want them getting killed protecting no one. Actually, that is just one of the things that I did yesterday. I also need to ask your grandmother if she knows when each of the attacks are supposed to take place."

"She told me that the attack here on the academy is planned for two weeks before Roza moya eighteenth birthday. She said that Victor is hoping to take everyone off guard with the attacks being so far apart. Apparently, he is hoping that no one will figure out that the attacks are all interconnected and that he is the one who is behind it all. Even though two of the last three attacks have been on the Badica family specifically, and the other has been on the princess of the Badica family's mother. All of which makes his true target rather obvious if you asked me. He apparently thinks that we are all so chert dumb as to not be able to put all of this together." (my, damn)

Abe just shook his head. "Tati has secretly moved the start of Victor's trial up to the third week in January. But she hasn't informed him, any of his trial team, or anyone else who they plan to testify on his behalf."

"Is that even legal?"

"It won't matter because he won't ever make it to his trial anyway, and she knows that. Your babushka has already told me that there is only one way to put a stop to the plans that Victor, and his lunatic brother Robert. Have in store for Rose and the rest of us and that is to either kill the both of them. Or kill Victor and have someone heal Robert of his darkness. I need to kill Victor in the next few weeks, and either kill or get Robert healed in the next four to six weeks. I already have some people at court who will take care of Victor while we are away at the funerals. As much as I would like to do it myself, as much as I would love to watch the son of a bitch bleed out in the floor at my feet. And watch as the life and light drain from his eyes as he takes his very last lanet breath. We are on a clock here and I need to be with my kiz bebek right now. And if it's done while we are all out of the country then that gives all of those concerned an irrefutable concrete and airtight alibi. Especially since Tati will be going with us, no one would dare accuse anyone of anything with her as an alibi witness." He gave me a calculating smirk. (grandmother, fucking, baby girl)

"The two of you planned it this way, didn't you?"

"Yes, we most certainly did." He answered me with a smug smirk on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. A smirk and twinkle that was sooo like my Roza's, or vice versa I guess I should say.

"No one messes with our Rose that we don't make pay for it in some way. So, we decided that this was the very least that we could do to him within our time constraints." He shrugged now.

I couldn't help but smile at that information. I was sooo glad that Abe, and apparently Aunt Tati as well, were willing to do anything and everything that it took to protect Roza moya. (my)
