Chapter 56

"What is your proof, Adrian?"

"I can tell just by looking at her aura, that Princess Badica is in fact...  a virgin."

The hall erupted with hushed whispers and gasps.

"Is this true Princess, are you a virgin?"

My poor Rose, she looked so embarrassed and humiliated. But she and I both knew that this was the only way to end these terrible rumors, awful gossip, and those horrendous lies. And to heal and restore her wrongfully questioned and disparaged reputation.

"Yes." She answered quietly.

"So, what you are saying is that you have never been with anyone?"

"No, I most certainly have not." She was now standing tall hand in hand with Dimitri, and with her head held high. Pretty much daring anyone to try and contradict her.

"So, what about what Mr. Zeklos and his friend said?"

"He tried to force himself on me and he also tried to force me to let him feed from me. I was pushing him away saying no to both, even as he tried to compel me to comply. When Dimitri, thanks be to God, made his way into the lounge and pulled Zeklos up off of me and made him leave me alone."

I nodded. I already knew this story because she and Dimitri had both told me this earlier when we discussed that this was going to have to happen. And it had infuriated the living hell out of me then, and it still does now.

It nauseates me, and it always has, that someone, anyone of the male persuasion, seem to think that they can force a woman to do anything that they damn well please. In some cases, such as with Rose's, it is because she is a dhampir and other times it is just because she is a woman. Most of them don't need any more reasons than those.

The fact that that little bastard thinks that he could take advantage of and force himself on my niece and goddaughter infuriated me. And for no other reason than because she was born as a dhampir and not a known royal. But he is about to pay for his mistake, and he is going to pay VERY fucking dearly for it if I have anything whatsoever to say about it. This is after all my goddaughter and 'niece' that he is disparaging and disrespecting after all. And I simply will not put up with nor allow things such as that from someone such as him. It just isn't going to be allowed to happen, not ever again.

He is actually VERY damn lucky that Dimitri was able to step in in time to save Rose. Because had he been successful at the atrocious and disgusting things that he tried with my Rose. Then I would have had his ass put to death right in the middle of court in front of everyone. And his execution would have been mandatory for everyone at court, over the age of twelve, to be there to witness. And it would have also been televised on our television news channel. It also would have been recorded and shown to each and every single academy class once they turned twelve years old from then on to watch.

Hopefully, whatever is done to him will show everyone, especially the other moroi, not to try this kind of shit on anyone else ever again. No matter who the victim or the perpetrator is.

"Mr. Jesse Zeklos and Mr. Ralf Sarcozy, please join Ms. Kirova."

I intentionally called Kirova Ms. instead of headmistress because she wasn't going to be the headmistress here for much longer. Technically her tenure here, as headmistress, ended this very morning very shortly after Abe had informed me of what has been going on here. She, and the masses, just don't know it yet.

We waited a few moments but neither of the boys ever appeared.

"Do not force me to send guardians up there after you. Get down here right NOW!!!"
