Tatiana paused for a moment sniffled again and then she asked, "is it just me or does it sound like someone is going after Rose and her family?"

"No, your majesty, it most certainly isn't just you. My babushka is a seer, and she has seen what is going on." (grandmother)

"Who is your grandmother and what did she see?" Well, apparently the current queen speaks Russian.

"My babushka is retired Guardian Yeva Belikova..." (grandmother)

Tatiana gasped.

"You... you are Yeva's grandson?!"

"Yes ma'am, I most certainly am." I answered cautiously but filled with pride that our queen knew my babushka not only by name but also by reputation apparently.

But then I wondered 'Did she know my babushka personally? I mean is that even a remote possibility?' (grandmother)

"So that means that you are my nephew." That statement shocked the living der'mo out of me. (shit)

"I don't know your majesty, I'm sorry. All I know is that my father's name is, or rather was if he's dead, Randall Ivashkov." And I really and truly hope that the ublyudok is dead. (bastard)

"But that is the extent of my knowledge about him or his family."

"Yes, Randall was adopted from an orphanage in Romania by my aunt and uncle. Who could not have children of their own, when he was just four years old. So, you are technically my cousin, but because of the age difference you are still my 'nephew'."

"I'm sorry your majesty, but I just really don't know what to say to all of this new information right now."

"Let's not worry about that right now, we will talk about all of that at a later date."

"Yes, ma'am."

"So, what did my old friend Yeva see about my girl?"

'So, my babushka was 'old friends' with our current queen? Huh, that was definitely some more new information.' I again thought to myself. (grandmother)

"She saw that the former prince, Victor Dashkov, is behind both of the attacks. He has also planned an attack for Rose's father Abe's main estate in Turkey. As well as being responsible for the attack on the Badica's, that Art Schoenberg was guarding, just before CHRISTmas. And Victor is planning the attack in Turkey in the hopes that Abe will be in residence at the time of the attack so that he will also be killed. Victor also has plans to launch a full-scale massive attack on St. Vladimir's Academy in Montana. And if he doesn't manage to get everyone, that Rose cares about, killed there. Then he plans to have what's left of his strigoi army attack court sometime later, several months after graduation as a matter of a fact, for the very same reason. She also saw that if he finds out that Rose has been here in Baia. That he will send his army of strigoi to decimate the entire town and kill every single man, woman and child for miles and miles around."

"My God, he is even more insane now than when he was first arrested."

"Yes ma'am, it would certainly seem so."

"Does Yeva know why he is doing all of this?"

"Yes. Apparently, he wrongly blames Rose for everything that he considers to have gone wrong in his family's lives over the last twenty years."

"How is that even possible, she's not even eighteen years old yet?!!"

"According to what my babushka saw, he blames Rose because twenty years ago is when Abe and Janine met." (grandmother)

"Psychopathic." She whispered to herself in disbelief.

"He is psychopathic." She repeated.

"Yes ma'am, I am afraid that that is also true."
